Why do sega care for Metacritic so much?
I don't look at Metacritic, I simply buy and play games I like.
I don't know, may be it looks good on their quarterly reports for the investors or that's what their investors want.
Either way, they always mentioned it there now, even when saleswise the games didn't perform well like Sonic CW and Shinobi AOV.

I guess it's their way of saying to the investors "we're done making bad games" and shift the focus on a marketing aspect.
Not in a healthy way.
Love is love.
