I already saw Sonic OVA before Jam, they're still in VHS format though.
Yeah, but UK though. Just because Sega were more popular in UK over Nintendo, doesn't mean we had everything Sonic here during the '90s. We had Sonic the Comic and London had Sega World for awhile.
No, but it's the first one that's using cute design for the monsters.
Ah, I guess it can take credit in that.
I mean usually Sonic spin-off games came from SEGA of America (Dark Brotherhood, three Sonic Boom games, The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog), but Sonic Pico Park is coming from SEGA of Japan.
I see, so that's why Sega is giving it attention.
I guess they're overconfident since Warcraft such a big franchhise.
It is, which is a pity given they likely had the resources in-house to make their own movie.
Uhm, I don't think the series is for us since the article said the series was aimed for upper preschoolers.
True, but Sonic has such a large and diverse fandom, it is expected Sonic fans will be watching it.
And heck, despite being a preschool show, it might still be enjoyed by a wide audience.

- I simply cannot remember. But I remember Alex Kidd in Miracle World, built into the Master System II, being the very first video game i ever played.
- Fallout London, though I have put it down for a long while now.
- I'm currently not playing any games in particular. I don't know if I'd call myself that much of a gamer any more. I would like to have that respark of gaming, but it's not there.
- The "Power Surge" games. I'm not really into fighting games, nor really into the Virtua Fighter series at all, the last Virtua Fighter game I ever played was VF1 and 2 for the Sega Saturn. But something about Virtua Fighter: Crossroads makes me want to give it a chance. Especially given my Sega Saturn Pro Controller. So while I can't say "gone full circle" given I never bothered with VF3-5, it's more of a detour of sorts.
I am, however, looking forward in getting the
Steam Frame now that it's for sale. I've already reserved the 1TB. I'll be getting back into VR gaming over it. (I just hope I can use it for general virtual reality, given I'm somewhat disappointed the
Steam Controller only works with Steam and not other PC games.)
And of course, you know I'm hoping there will be a Dreamcast Pro Controller, if Retro-Bit ever updates the Sega Collaboration.
