I'd rather have that Sega World than seeing Sonic OVA earlier.

I'd rather Sega World lasted long enough for me to had visited it someday.
But at least I can watch the OVA on YouTube these days.

And now there's this series that's aimed for upper preschoolers. Most likely the design would be cute too.

I guess. But was Sonifure enjoyed too by a wide audience? I never see fandom discuss about it.

As an admin on the Sonic Wiki Zone, there was a bit of a discussion on it awhile back. But, I don't think the issue is the facr it's a Japanese shows, especially given there's no actual language in these videos making them enjoyable by all, I believe it's the fact it's a TikTok series that is off-putting.

As I'm sure I said before, when they do post those videos to YouTube, it's still in short-screen format. Even when uploaded as regular videos they don't use the entire screen. I'd rather they re-record the footage and have a lot of dead-space on the side of screen than this:

Another reason I imagine why Sonic & Friends isn't getting much traction outside of TikTok is because if you go on Youtube and search "Sonic and friends", you'll mostly find videos from this YouTube channel. Trying "Sonic & friends" (with an ampersand) does yield a bit better results, with this collection, but still mostly a video of a guy playing with his Sonic plushies.

So yeah, that's why I believe Sonic & Friends have no attention outside of Japan, and the fact it's a TikTok series probably makes it a more limited platform in Japan.

Heck, I never heard of the term "Sonifure" until you told me it.

Unfortunately other than Psycho Dream and Arcus Odyssey, Retro-Bit right now is still busy with R-Type DX so then expect any other new project or update.

I feel kinda hurt that, do they know there are Dreamcast fans waiting for their controllers? how long do we have to wait?
The only reason why I haven't gotten a DreamConn S is because I want a licenced Sega controller, and I want to see what the Wireless Dreamcast Pro Controller looks like.

So please, Retro-Bit, don't leave us Dreamcast-fans hangin'. Especially with Crazy Taxi: World Tour and the new Jet Set Radio on the way.
