Not sure if the 3 million figure is good or bad, it hit 1 million in March/April. Seems this one won't be catching upto Sonic Dash anytime soon but we shall see.

That is not a worry number but also is not a really good one.

Dash has cemented a name in the market, it's difficult for an online-only variation of a Sonic app to do the same thing even if the core gameplay is better. Some stores, specially the iOS ones, don't even have the app listed or available yet.
There is something going on that they didn't resolved before and they are trying to do it right now.
