Misleading e-mail from SEGA
« on: September 28, 2015, 10:06:42 pm »
There are tons of match-3 games on the Google Play, but since this came from publisher and developer that I love (SEGA & Demiurge),
I'm willing to give it a try.
But boy, still being one of the few SEGA fans that supported this game, I still left being dissapointed.

I've pre-registered and succeeded in securing the rare character's code.
Few days later I got an email saying this game is now available worldwide and gave me code for Mercy, the winged warsteed.
They told me to download the game.
But I still can't download it.
Why? Because this game is still unavailable in my country.
The first ever SEGA mobile game launched worldwide that skipped my country.

SEGA shouldn't have sent misleading e-mail.
I know it's just a mobile game, but we are talking about SEGA, a big game publisher.
They messed up the Tembo Baddass Elephant launch and now messing this launch too.
And also how my Sonic Runners became almost unplayable due so much crash after the worlwide launch.
Thumbs down for you SEGA. *annoyed*

What a coincidence, I'm Javanese too !

Anyways, this crap happens all the time with Sega mobile games, for example when Sonic Runners got a worldwide release it also wasn't on the Play Store, so the only way I can update my soft launch copy was through QooApp.

Weladhalah.. Jebule.. Lol.

Yeah, why is it so hard to be SEGA fan this days...

Worlwide launching's not getting right,
SOJ/SOA/SOE being not care with each others, almost never promoting other's games (Tembo being the notable example),
no love shown to the old franchises (apart from 3D classic series),
so many good games never localized and sitting in Japan only...

And about this Sega Mobile game....
I'm kinda surprised this game (Puzzle & Glory) almost never got any mention in the official SEGA blog (ran by SOA),
there isn't even any news when this game (and Tembo) launched worlwide...

About Tembo may be because the game came from SOE so SOA's just being not really care about it.
But Puzzle & Glory is SOA's game.
How come they don't even care about their own product ?  >:(

How do you think Sega should do to make SOA/SOJ/SOE care about each other ? Personally i think Sega should held a big 1 week seminar/party where everyone at SOA/SOJ/SOE and their devs like Sonic Team/Creative Assembly/Yakuza Team can get to know each other better.

Like in sitcom episodes where the cast is all trapped in a room and they are forced to work out their issues?

I never got any mail from SEGA of America anymore.
A mail about closure of Puzzle & Glory was my last, I think.
Either they' re being lazier or any other unknown reason.

However I still got mails SEGA Amusements International, SEGA Prize International, and SEGA Total Solutions regularly.
They are all from Europe so it seems SEGA of Europe is more active than SEGA of America, I wonder why.
