I think the fact that the franchise is being kept alive on home consoles, with a remaster of the original to boot, is a very good sign.

Same. Even if it's a different battle style, it's a respectful way to continue this series. At the very least it's not a dumbed down mobile game.

Very satisfying news from SEGA, I could get used to this.

Then it stays Japanese exclusive for all future titles.

Because talent.

That's some Tony Taka-tier character design

Not lewd enough to be a Tony Taka design. Male protagonist looks more fitting at least.

When you hire a shit team, you get a shit game.

Fair point, but the LP director was overseeing the game . I don't like SEGA outsourcing its IP when it already has a Team more than able to make the game in-house

I think every corp is now jumping on the remastering bandwagon and it was great news until the new of it now being made In-House by the old team.

I really don't think many really care that Shinning series is kept alive on the console, untill Camelot come back to the series they wil not care. Well I kind of feel the same with stuff like SEGA in-House games and games like Star Fox from Nintendo I wish it was all kept In-House instead of being outsoruced all the time . I don't see Atlus outsorucing its RPG's to another team even with Sammy owning them, so why should SEGA In-House teams have to outsoruce

SEGA Japan own In-House teams should be able to make the IP and getting their lines used to console development , not paying Media for that pleasure . If the main Team was working on a massive new IP for the consoles then fair enough, but not doubt they're working on same crappy mobile game :( .

It not doubt be a nice game, but it would have been so much better if we had the main Val team with a new Canvas II engine working on the sequel In-House themself's that would be really somthing to look forward too and be happy about

Giant weapons have always been part of the series since its inception and beyond.

I'm guessing the guy has valkyrian bloodline with his hand flashing a blue tint.

I do wonder why this is outsourced though.
