Added Space Trader for SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive
Port of Pieter Spronck's Space Trader 1.2.0 (Palm OS, 2002)

Quote
Haroldo: "This is a complete source-level port of Pieter Spronck's Space Trader 1.2.0 (Palm OS, 2002) to the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive using SGDK 1.70.This was converted by mostly using Claude AI to handle the grunt work.
The game logic (trading economy, encounters, ships, combat, quests, galaxy map) is preserved verbatim from the original C source.  The Palm OS UI toolkit, event system, database API, and bitmap resources are replaced by a Genesis-native text-mode interface built on SGDK's VDP tile engine.
Actual graphics haven't been added, yet, but will probably be added in a future version."

Castlevania: Circle of the Moon (SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive) - "H32 Mode and minor improvements" Update

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9munPvLn84

Quote
Andor: "I've spent quite some time to improve some minor things in the game, fixed some bugs, improved collisions a bit.
The major update is that I have changed the game to use the H32 screen mode (256 x 224) which will from now on the main view for the game as this is the closest resolution to the originam game, and the assets are made for that res.
I had to redo the dialogue text as H32 mode reduces the sprite limit per horizontal line from 20 to 16 (so 4 less characters I can display per line).

Also I did have issues with the text box when the map has already scrolled and the map Y Position was not a multiple of 8, that the text was shifted and not in line with the transparent background lines.
Now I am calculating if map Y-Pos is not a multiple of 8 and how much I need to offset the text/image position, so that it's again in line witht he transparent lines.
I implemented DSS Card drops, and the Dash Boot Upgrade item is now on it's correct place (also the dashing is of course only possible when the dash boots has been picked up)."

Moving Road Fighter (SEGA Master System) to 2026 List since the game is out now

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KtTKwvDkoKA

Quote
badcomputer: "Road Fighter is a 1984 racing game developed and published by Konami for arcades.
The goal is to reach the finish line within the stages without running out of time, hitting other cars or running out of fuel (which is refilled by hitting a special type of car). "

Moving Fridge Fury(SEGA Master System) to 2026 List since the game is out now

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YCFZXIvHQ_k

Quote
eruiz00: "For years, the fridge was a sanctuary of freshness and order. But something changed.A power surge in the rear coil triggered an anomalous fermentation. Forgotten and mistreated, the food began to mutate. The yogurt turned sour and vengeful. The tomato gained consciousness and rage. The cheese, tired of being ignored, hardened and armed itself with crusty blades. The carrots secretly trained in ninja arts. The wine bottles and beer cans, drunk on their own power, joined forces in a crusade against sobriety.

In the midst of this chaos, the Killer Chickpea awoke. Not just any chickpea. He had been boiled in Málaga, tempered by the Andalusian sun, and seasoned with the wisdom of generations. His mission:restore balance to the fridge and prevent the rebellion from spilling into the kitchen… and beyond... "

Moving Egle in Parallel Worlds (SEGA Master System) to 2026 List since the game is out now

guy: "This year, I felt like experimenting with a simple platformer engine. I got really into it, and it eventually turned into this demo : Think Mario clones, questionable bootlegs, and that beautifully unhinged idea that was Alex Kidd in Shinobi World. This project sits somewhere right in the middle of all that chaos.
This time, it’s his twin brother Egle who takes the lead (it was originally Alex, but I needed a way to explain why he couldn’t break rocks). "

Moving GLUF Tesla Frog (SEGA Master System) to 2026 List since the game is out now

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3j1QYrX6Ir8

Quote
Tony&Co: "In this game you control a frog named Gluf, and just like the electric car, Gluf can charge energy from places marked with battery symbols. You need the power to activate the circuits in the floor, but you can only charge enough power to activate 10 circuits, so if you need to activate more, then you will need to recharge. When all circuits in the floor are activated the exit door will also be activated, and you will be able to access the next level.
You do not have any kind of weapons so you will need to avoid all the enemies. Certain areas of the levels are only accessible by walking on some unstable floor that will disappear when you walk on it, and this can also be used for making traps for the enemies. For using the elevators you just walk into them and push up or down. While holding A and pressing the direction buttons you can look in those directions for checking out where the monsters are.
You have unlimited lives to complete all 25 levels of the game.  "

Yes, but this demo is for AMIGA AGA version.

Yea should have clarified, thought it'd be useful to anyone who wanted to see what the game was.

I'm kinda worried since the funding goal is two times bigger than Escape 2049 kickstarter which's failed the meet the goal.
Hopefully I'm wrong and it could meet the goal.

It's definitely ambitious; at their current pace, they'll need ~400 backers to hit that goal.

Speculating, but he may have been encouraged by the results of other recent successful campaigns, like Copperstorm or Cursed Legacy. Nothing against this game, but it doesn't quite rank on the same level

If it's game alone yes, but this one has a unique controller, PopCorn Spinner, and that's making a huge difference compared to the other genesis/mega drive homebrew before.
As we can see, the most backed one is the "PopCorn Duel + 2 Spinners" reward, not the "game only" reward.
Why 2 spinners? Because this kind of game is a lot more fun to play with friends.
