Added Mega Cosmo Knight Zion for SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive

Quote
Zeichi Games: "Zion becomes MEGA, Mega Cosmo Knight Zion, testing the mechanics I had already started developing using SGDK in conjunction with the recent MDEngine; it can incorporate my entire platform ecosystem, and for now I’m using the tool primarily as a graphical editor—I’m satisfied with the result. Sega MegaDrive/Genesis
The BG graphics are still placeholders."

🏰 MALDITA CASTILLA: REQUIEM (SEGA Mega Drive / Genesis) — Debug Playtest Session 🏰

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CHtkJDFDd_w

Quote
Paspallas : "A behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming action-platformer, Maldita Castilla Requiem. This session covers a raw, unpolished debug playtest across several levels — expect placeholder art, tuning-in-progress enemy behavior, and dev overlays. Nothing here is final; this is a snapshot of the engine and level design in motion."

Added Mega DREAD for SEGA Mega Drive/Genesis

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Blu6Naxqg_0

Quote
Mark “Happy-Ferret” Bauermeister : "100% vibe ported on Claude 5 Opus while I was asleep, not even gonna deny that.
Somebody challenged me to do better than their Doom port (Megaldoom) after I told them there's something fundamentally broken.
The window is much larger than Megaldoom, the performance much more playable and the controls (turning aside. But then maybe I just s*ck at playing an FPS in an application emulating an "ancient" 16 bit console and mapping its virtual digipad to the cursor keys) less clunky (for whatever reason I have yet to investigate myself, the player in Megaldoom keeps drifting/floating).

I'm not gonna deride the effort that went into Megaldoom (and I love the title screen with Sonic being blown up by the Cacodemon) but I feel there's a large gap between what a Doom "port" (port in quotes because the rendering model is fundamentally different regardless) on Sega Genesis/Mega Drive could be and what it currently is.
Dread's source code (the Genesis port is largely based on the Amiga version) : Github."

Added Tuxemon for SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1uUChqf0jo

Quote
Haroldo : "A playable Mega Drive ROM built with SGDK, using Tuxemon's real game data and real battle formulas rather than an approximation of them. Monster stats, type effectiveness, damage, capture and experience are transliterations of the Python in the upstream repository, re-derived in fixed point because the 68000 has no FPU."

Curse of the Herder  (Dreamcast)

https://github.com/huntergdavis/curse-of-the-herder-dreamcast

Quote
A port of Curse of the Herder (play it in a browser at https://hunterdavis.com/curse-of-the-herder/) to the Sega Dreamcast, built on KallistiOS.A cursed herder gathers sixty sheep across an island over a nine-hour day, learns to swear from the books he finds in little free libraries, and retires to a Hall of Herders with his last words on a stone. No language model: a deterministic grammar over curated word lists, generated from the web game's data so the two stay in step.

Real People  (Gen/MD)

This story is focused on depersonalization and depression and touches on attempted suicide and paranoia. Exercise care if these are triggers for you.

The other day, I posted something especially distressing on social media, but a friend noticed that it fell in line with a subculture, Empty Spaces, and mentioned it to me. I was unaware but on checking out an anthology and some stuff she shared with me, I saw myself extremely clearly reflected. Not all of it was 1:1. It's such a vast concept, I don't think any one person (regardless of how many people they are), can fully encompass it.

Anyway, I felt a necessity to write as I don't think I ever have in my life before and this is what came out. It was terribly painful. I hated writing it. But I think it's the most important thing I've ever written.

I hope it can make someone out there feel less alone as the Empty Spaces writings I've read have made me feel.

Bio Blade  (Gen/MD)

https://berkdevs.itch.io/bio-blade-a-star-odyssey

Quote
Bio Blade: A Star Odyssey is a video game I developed for the Sega Genesis. It's written in C and uses the SGDK library. It's a cool project I created to further my knowledge in coding and low-level programming languages. Essentially, it's a tech-demo portraying my knowledge with SGDK as a new programmer.
