This few months, I have been mostly watchin', "Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider".

I'm not really into the Kamen Rider series at all, but I came across this interesting anime that I decided to watch. It's about a man named Tojima who has a somewhat unhealthy obsession with Kamen Rider, particularly Kamen Rider 1. He trained most of his life to be a Kamen Rider inadvertently making him physically peak for a human, but still wishes for "Shocker to kidnap him and make him into a Kamen Rider". At the age of fourty he acknowledges that his obsession is unhealthy and sells off his merch, but when a festival was interrupted by thugs dressed as Shocker soldiers, he puts on a plastic festival mask and this begins a series of events. He meets other individuals who, like him, are obsessed with Showa-era Kamen Riders.
Spoilers:
Later on in the series, it is revealed SHOCKER is an actual secret organization, with Shocker Combatmen undercover around the city as everyday civilians. So far, "Spider Man" and "Bat Man" (obviously based on the original Shocker monsters from Kamen Riders, not the comic superheroes) were revealed as genuine mutants created by Shocker. These mutants look more monstrous than their original Kamen Rider counterparts but capable of taking human disguises.
I don't know if Hiroshi Fujioka exist in this anime series or not, I presume he does given Kamen Rider is still depicted as a television show in this anime (with scenes from the TV show recreated in the styled of the anime, I think with audio from the original series), but I'm curious of what it would be like if he came across the group and find out what they know.
Oh yeah. I know this one, I read the manga version back then and kinda surprised when it was announced to be adapted into anime.
It's really funny and since it's a comedy manga I'm enjoying it as what it is.
My only concern is just while this manga version of Tackle's design is atractive, I fear that the younger generations would remember Tackle as the one with big boobs and sexy outfit rather than the original one.
The original Tackle showed up as a partner in Kamen Rider Amazon but she didn't make it until the end.

She did she showed up again in movie with dimension / time travel stories but she's still destined to die after that.
As a kid it was deavastating to see your heroes/heroines die midway on TV series.
Other than Tackle, most saddest one for me it's the death of Seiji in Megaloman.

From the picture above I'm sure you can guess which one is Seiji.
