So. Demon Slayer. I don;t get the relation it has with Sega but given how often it's mentioned on this forum I decided to bingewatch it./ Currently on episode 8, will finish it when I get up.

DC Comic version & Marvel Comic Version of Zeus are the ones of familiar with..
since I grew up with them.
Very strong, wise, but still egocentric,
but never went too far by brutally murder people out of anger.
Still very strong in modern days.

The Zeus I am familiar with is the one from greek history. The kind who'd sleep with mortal women on a whim. I guess looking back perhaps he did this to assure heroes among the mortals but these days he is regarded an old horny bstrd.

I don't like the character designs at first, but they grew up on me after knowing the story.

Funimation added two more Demon Slayer omnibus episodes on its streaming service on October 7, 2021.

With the pantheon being a family business and that business consisting of two or three families with no other known gods around then someones bound to end up marrying their cousin or so. It's either that or promote mortals to godhood but that doesn't always work out so well for others...

I've noticed this list before and seen some of the listed anime... but most of them seem rather "weebish" even for my tastes, while others I can't find.

And most of mortals were deemed unworthy to be promoted to godhood.

I wonder if the American voice actors will be reprising their roles on the Adult Swim one? I also wonder if they put as much passion and emotion into the dialogue as they did for the Dreamcast games.

According to the interview, yes, the core voice cast from the games will return in the anime.

New York-based producer and streamer FilmRise is to launch a new anime-focused OTT channel and has struck a far-reaching deal with studio TMS Entertainment with which to stock it.
