Anyway, if this game is a port of a mobile release I suppose Sega wasn't expecting to sell many unities of it...

Not really. Sega has been doing this with some of their bigger mobile games for years...They're basically using the PC, VITA and mobile as their main platforms now.

Practically yes. Also this "V" version is like a premium pack with Boosters, a bunch of characters, etc. This is only for marketing and nothing more, they have like 10k copies of this version probably.

N4Gamer announced that Initial D Online for 3DS has been downloaded 400k times. That's a pretty good number for a F2P game for the 3DS.

Sega gets two positions in the main UK charts...FOOTBALL MANAGER 2015 at number 3(making it the numero uno game debut in the PC charts) and ALIEN ISOLATION which has shot up from 14th place to number 4 on the charts..most likely due to word of mouth...or a price drop. A good week for Sega in the UK.

Many SEGA's games for Vita didn't make it in the US.
Even Samurai & Dragons which in Asia's version had been translated into full english,
didn't make it into US.

That sounds pretty good, actually. Better than I expected, because I wasn't under the impression that the game had a lotof mindshare amongst arcade goers in Japan. Perhaps it's the strength of the various characters propelling it forward. If that's true, you have to wonder if the game has a decent tale or if that actually means everyone who would be interested already has it.

Oh I forgot this was released across two platforms. This is pretty terrible then. =\ Though I imagine that this beat Sega's expectations by a little bit or was about what they expected.
