I won't mind. We already saw them in 2d (Project X Zone, SEGA Heroes), now it's time for blocky ones.

Yeah, I'm not against it. Sonic Speed Sim has options, they're just not doing it, either they don't want to or Sega won't allow it.

I'm a bit surprised to see IDW Sonic get this much attention, but not like Sonic Speed Sim is canon.

Also, Autumn Forest Zone reminds me of "Sonic in Harvest Time Hazard"

I'm curious if they'll introduce Winter Canvern Zone for a late December update, but honestly, I'm kind of hoping White Park Zone will get in instead which will host a Christmas event.

The first game is a very simple game where players must press on Sonic, Tails and Knuckles character icons to fire energy balls and hit Shadow's icon.
There is no "aiming," and instead the player must hit Shadow has he moves in front of a character's icon and into their line of fire.

Yeah, I'd prefer if they add characters from the main games but I guess after this the new characters most likely would be Surge, Whisper, etc.

Don't get your hopes up. Most likely they'll be doing colab event with Paramount's Sonic 3 Movie.
