Tiara is canceled, Blaze doesn't have romantic feeling for Sonic, and Sally ... she came first before Amy.
Sally was designed for SatAM in 1991 while Amy appeared later in Sonic CD in September 1993 (though she was created for the Japanese Sonic the Hedgehog manga which began in April 1992, but that's still after Sally first designs for SatAM ... which oddly there were many alternative designs of her being a human ... I wonder why).
Actually Amy Rose came before Sally Acorn.
She started off in the Sonic manga made by Shogakukan Inc. in 1992 to 1994.
In the manga, she is depicted as Nicky's loving girlfriend, all the while having a crush on Sonic. Completely unaware Sonic is Nicky's... I dunno, something like Yugi and Pharaoh from Yu-Gi-Oh kind of thing, but Nicky is unaware he transforms into Sonic.
Sally Acorn may have been
developed first by American teams, but Amy Rose (as well as Charmy Bee) were the first to appear in published media and Amy was the first to be adapted into the video games and became staple characters to the series. Something Sally never got throughout her SatAM-Archie run.
