But again, having a real-life simulator of a game means you can take opportunities and decisions you wouldn't normally go for. Such as becoming a superhero or villain, a crime boss, a crazy person, etc. Who cares about consequences or impact of your decisions if you can just switch off the game?

Yes, I can see why The Sims, Saint Rows, and Grand Theft Auto are popular and likeable because of that.
Not for me though, I want my game to have clear objectives.

But also, fantasy alt-life simulation could be an isekei like game. Whenever you have some advantage, exploit, or just be awesome at what you are, stuff like that.

Wait a minute ... SEGA already has games with isekai theme ...





I haven't played TheoTown, sounds like a SimCity-like game with some fun options thrown in. But just saying games with AI generative content may allow decisions and player-interacticity that's beyond the confines of player programming.

Indeed. While the developer of TheoTown does not use AI in its core gameplay or development, they still allow user-made plugins using AI.
The Rules for using the Plugin Store require creators to declare if they use AI to generate or assist with plugin graphics.
AI-generated artwork must also be heavily edited to match the game's specific pixel-art style.

Why is Mii features hidden? Isn't Miitopia for the Switch? Wouldn't it be needed?
Or is Nintendo expecting users to use other means to make Mii's, such as their online Mii Studio, or use NDS, Wii or Wii U to make Miis with?

I don't know why they hid the menu but we could access it when we're making profile under those many options in the setting menu.
It's not being put in the main menu like Wii, Wii U, and 3DS.
Yes, it still exist, but It's kinda a hassle just to access it.

In Miitopia (Switch) we're given option to use Miis from our profile (the Mii Maker) or as characters in the game, with enhanced customization like wigs and makeup that go beyond the standard Mii Maker.
The later made the first choice (using Mii) less interesting by a lot.

Also Miitopia was released 8 years ago.
For the last five years Mii was rarely corporated into the game (if a few games did, the case will be like the choice in Switch version of Miitopia).
That's very different back then with Wii, Wii U, and 3DS.

I've read some fans saying Nintendo should update the Mii's with that of Miitopia. I mean, I kinda agree given how flexible Miitopia is over default Miis.

I think it depends on the developers terms of service. Sega are chill with allowing mods to have Mario in Sonic games, but are Nintendo legally chill with Sonic showing up in Super Mario games? I dunno. Given Nintendo Ninja's haven't slain these modders, I suppose it is.

This is the first time they did this but I know the reason.
Their characters for season 2 got leaked early so they move up the announcement but the trailer wasn't made yet so they use AI to make up the short time.
Not saying it's right or wrong, I just connected the dots since they don't use AI again after that.
