Before reading about him, I though he was Lau's buddy.
Just like in Virtua Fighter anime.
He seems to know a lot about Lau in the anime.
I didn't really figure a connection between them. Just drunken kung-fu master.

I remembered one scene in the anime where Pai got mad when she remembered Lau abandoning her sick mother.
And then Shun Di conformed her, saying because there is nothing Lau could do anyway.
Lau knows her wife couldn't be cured and isolated himself in training to overcome his own anger and sadness.
He knows that Pai would take care of her better than him in her final days.

Yeah but that's the anime. They may have been inaccurate with some characters (Akira Yuki) but they still put effort in storytelling where Sega themselves skipped out on.

Shinobi Ispired Game "Shadow Gangs" (Dreamcast Edition) Kickstarter Has Reached 2/3 of Its Goal
33 Days to Go!

Get the demo here:

https://mega.nz/file/NgkkQArL#rC86tFGbZKB9-6sTuvBarORi2Q0f1JnP4BBL6vI4w2A

Decompress the zip file using 7zip for example:  https://www.7-zip.org/

- Please remember the double jump (works only when as Ninja), just press the jump button again when Dan is in the decent phase of a normal jump.
- Please also play in Easy mode if you are not familiar with games like Shinobi. It's called "Rising Ninja" in the options menu, you can change the difficulty there.
- You can modify the controls in the options menu
- You can use the demo file (CDI) on a GDEMU on a real Dreamcast, or burn it to a CDR and use it too, or use a good emulator, I have been using Demul:  http://demul.emulation64.com/

Any issues please let me know. Feedback always welcome. Thank you.

Y'know... I sometimes wonder. What if Shinobi was in Ninjala? Not that I played Ninjala. Just Ninjala did that promotion with Sonic awhile back and here Sega already have a franchise all about ninjas.

Nah... Not cute enough.
Unless they're willing to make a chibi version of Shinobi.

The very least make his white and red uniform available, and maybe music-swap when the costume is worn.

I just remember that SEGA Heroes had chibi version of him,
but still not cute enough for Ninjala.
