True. But with Shinobi and CrossWorld in the ring, I hope Sega will bring home a trophy.

It would be funny if Sonic Rumble won the award (in mobile game category) but CrossWorlds did not.
First Sonic game to get The Game Awards trophy is Rumble instead of Frontiers or CrossWorlds would be hilarious.

Oof, I actually hope not. Don't want Sonic Team's ego to stoke towards the mobile market any more than it is now.

Too late. Sonic Rumble revenues for 3 weeks has reached $300K now, surpassing Sonic Dash ($60K/month, Nov25) and Sonic Forces ($130K/month, Nov25).
They must be really proud of the project.
Still not as much as Project Sekai Colourful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku which reached $3M/month (Nov25) though. That game is really a monster.

Sonic Rumble is forgivable given they are at least available for PC gamers.

And how PC gamers treat it? By giving it a lot of bad reviews on Steam while mobile versions were welcomed with good reviews.
