Shinobi – The Real Ninja v1.0 is an enhancement hack for SHINOBI (Sega Master System). This release includes 3 different gameplay versions (Classic / Arcade / Enhanced).

Versions included

1) Classic (Original-friendly)

- Ninja hood added (visual edit)
- Max projectiles on screen increased: x3 (except grenades)

2) Arcade (Arcade-feel / Faster action)

- Ninja hood added (visual edit)
- Max projectiles on screen increased: x3
- Rapid Fire enabled (ALL weapons)
- Melee attack speed increased
- Mandara boss statues durability increased (+1 hit) for balance

3) Enhanced (Arcade + Movement upgrade)

- Includes all Arcade changes
- Half Jump (reduced jump height)
- Double Jump added
- Mandara boss statues durability increased (+1 hit) for balance

Alongside the DLC release on April 3rd, SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance will also receive a free update patch. The patch will add a “Hardcore Mode” and combat system adjustments, and includes updates to character outlines, map and tutorial display features.

The game's really hard. Reducing enemy damage and adding checkpoints in the option won't matter much since usually the trouble is in the platform jumping session, lol.

Skies of Arcadia is an RPG and RPG is indeed time consuming. Shinobi isn't that time consuming, it just need a patience and high concentration that could only be rivaled with our childhood-self who's only having few games to play with no internet or real life distraction.

I do have quite the backburner of games I've been meaning to play. Some of them I'm holding out until I get to see Retro-Bit's Dreamcast controllers, as well as wanting the new Steam controller to replace my old XBox 360 controller.
