David Ward, co-founder of Ocean Software, has died aged 75

The Manchester-based company is credited for establishing much of the commercial, legal and technical framework that helped turn game creation from a hobby to a global business.
The news of Ward’s death was confirmed by his son Ben on Monday.

FIFA Will Work With Other Developers To Launch Brand New Football Games

FIFA 23 will be EA's final FIFA game, and after this the series will be known as 'EA Sports FC'.
At this stage, it's unclear how FIFA would potentially compete with EA's title which already has a licensing portfolio of more than 19,000+ players, 700+ teams, 100+ stadiums and 30 leagues.

Capcom to release “multiple major new titles” by March 31, 2023

The company plans to release a total of 45 SKUs, versus the 24 SKUs shipped in the fiscal year that just ended.
A total of 37 million units are expected to be sold overall, with 10 million units coming from new titles and 27 million units from catalog titles.
This is compared to 32.6 million units the previous fiscal year, and 30.1 million units the year before it.

The King of Fighters XV DLC characters Geese Howard, Billy Kane, and Ryuji Yamazaki launch May 17

The King of Fighters XV downloadable content characters Geese Howard, Billy Kane, and Ryuji Yamazaki—Team South Town—will launch on May 17, developer SNK announced.
