Why Embracer should revive Gex, the 32-Bit gaming’s worst mascot

Quote
Until very recently, the Gex franchise was owned by Square Enix.
The Japanese developer acquired the Gex IP (probably reluctantly) when it purchased developer Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Interactive back in 2009.
So, now, more than ever, it’s actually more likely that we’ll see a new Gex game thanks to Embracer’s takeover of a suite of Square Enix IP.

Capcom Fighting Collection Q&A With Producer Shuhei Matsumoto

Quote
JC: How did you put together the archival side of this collection? What were some of your favorite assets and art you were able to share in the game?
Matsumoto: Capcom legend SHOEI brought out all of his carefully stored materials and we prepared them together. Everything was wonderful, but the Darkstalkers art was especially dynamic and we were blown away by it.

Happy 27 Years Anniversary for Battle Monster !

Quote
Twelve psychotic monsters fight fist-and-fang in the darkest, goriest head-to-head combat ever! In bone-chilling interactive, multi-leveled environments, the beasts of the undead trade clawfuls of sickening supermoves in their bid to rule the underworld.
Overflowing with blood, guts, drool and slime, Battle Monsters is mangling multi-hit, mid-air fighting with super-fast scaling, chopping, stabbing, gouging and morphing. Feeling lucky, freak?

SEGA considered a Dreamcast or Saturn Mini but it would have been "a difficult and expensive process"

Quote
The company did "explore the idea" of a Dreamcast or Saturn Mini but ultimately decided not to pursue it when Sega discovered manufacturing mini consoles had become more expensive post-pandemic (and post semiconductor shortage, of course).
Okunari added that the Mega Drive Mini's internals "can't adequately handle Saturn games", and manufacturing new chipsets would be prohibitively expensive, joking that if they'd proceeded with the idea, the cost of buying a Dreamcast of Saturn Mini could rival that of a modern-day console.
But because the Mega Drive Mini 2 was based upon the existing Mini hardware, it seemed more "manageable".

I remember playing Exhumed as a kid. Never played a FPS like it, mostly because I didn't know it was also regarded as a "Metrovania" sort of game.

One of the best Saturn games.
After developing this game for Saturn, Lobotomy Software was also trusted to port both Duke Nukem 3D and Quake (1997) for Saturn.

For Saturn or PC?
Isn't there already official one for PC?

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1678430/PowerSlave_Exhumed/

Since this remake was from Saturn version (combined with Playstation version), this was designed for a Saturn controller in mind, not with a mouse and keyboard so i understand if fan want to change it more mouse-friendly.
