A NEW SEAMAN IS IN ThE WORKS
« on: May 27, 2017, 09:22:38 am »
:D A brand new Seaman game is coming soon.  Apparently this will be the 3rd game.  I had no idea there was even a Seaman 2, it came out in japan for PS2!  Anyone else love this twisted time waster?  XD

I think the second Seaman was more like a neanderthal who lived on a little island. I liked the first Seaman but got stuck in it so I never saw his full evolution.

I always thought the PS2 version was just a port?

Anywho, no Leonard Nimoy this time unless they plan to reuse his voice :(

What about Patrick Stuart?  :D  He'd be pretty good.

I was about to write he wouldn't do it, but then I remembered he's doing the voice for Poo in the emoji film...so yeah, he probably would do it hehe.

In fact, there have been many rumors and revelations from Yoot Saito himself, the creator of the game, about PolyTrack the new Seaman project. But those are just rumors.

SEGA Talk #178: US Box Art Design (1989-2001)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9b8-5qwZYQA

Quote
In this episode of Sega Talk, we track the radical evolution of SEGA’s North American branding, from the clinical “graph paper” grids of the Master System to the high-tech “black box” era of the Genesis. We dive deep into why Sega abandoned its uniform look for the iconic red-stripe rebrand of the 90s, the switch to the massive plastic long-boxes of the Saturn, and finally, the Dreamcast’s sleek transition from bright orange swirls to the edgy “SegaNet” black. It’s a nostalgic look at how Sega used graphic design as a weapon in the console wars, shifting from a toy company aesthetic to a lifestyle brand that defined a generation.
