I have owned the game my entire life, the PC release of the first game is the only release of Ecco I that has the FMVs. Ecco II was the first release ever to have these FMVs at all, they were even marketed on the back of the box.

Well I suggest you play the Mega CD game then . Yes there's FMV in the 1st Ecco game onthe Mega CD . You talk to the Library stage Glyphs and you get a nice lovely FMV clip on the History of the Dolphin

That is different and not related to the actual game. No one gives a fucking shit about those and they never did. They would not be missed at all.

I was talking about the FMVs that play about the story of the games, kind of like the animated intro in the first game.

Just admit you we wrong about that game you owned all your life , not having FMV . Nothing worse that when some just can't admit they were wrong. Like you were over X-Box Live Arcade limits, and Ecco on the Mega CD not having a FMV.

Now lets leave it at that and for when Sonic Adv and Crazy Taxi do come to the XBLA or PSN

No, I explained that I was talking about the story related ones and you never pointed out we were arguing about a different thing, confusing both of us. There is also an intro video only in the MEGA CD release that is obvious to anyone who either looks on the back of the box or has the game on for 20 seconds would be able to see. I always assumed we were talking about the story ones, and you kept going on like we were, so why did you not bring that up? I even constantly mentioned Ecco II having these videos, and none of the releases of that have the 'History of Dolphins' videos, so again, why did you not stop me there either?

I am not sure why you snapped about the Soul Calibur XBLA limits, I was just stating why I felt they removed the content and kept it condensed on purpose and you just kept saying I was wrong without even acknowledging my points.

I so much rather play the actual game. No there isn't a FMV intro to ECCO, the extra bonus Mega CD intro , is all done in real time.
There is no FMV intro to Ecco II either on the Mega CD (yes I have the game). You need to stop going by what Google tells you, and play the actual game :p

Didn't snap. Just pointing out there was never ever any VS online modes for SC on the DC, And all the extra's and unlockables were in the XBox Live game . Just the mission mode was taken out , but everything you unlocked when in Mission mode was included.

Now lets wait until Sonic and Crazy Taxi ship to see what's in , or taken out .

I never really meant the online play - I mean they should have tried, but my point was aimed at Namco's comments about keeping everything in tact and then removing everyone's favorite feature and never trying to go back and add it in if space was really an issue it could have always been with DLC. We will just agree to disagree on this. I am completely certain it was gimped on purpose because of the release of Soul Calibur IV and it being largely a very similar game and liked a lot more.

As for Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi on the platforms. I have said what needs to be said really. They are less than two months away now, so not like SEGA will change anything major with our complaints.

So Please don't come it .

I mean they should have tried,
Maybe , Though with SC IV coming I guess they were more focused on that , and maybe didn't want to hurt any sales by making Dreamcast SC VS online.

They put everything one could unlocked in mission mode in . I guess if space wasn't an issue , they just would have ported the whole game over, lock stock and barrel

We have to see , I not be happy if the water disappearing clitch is still there

Man you guys argue a lot.  I haven't posted in a while, but does anyone recall loving to fight with me? Am I anyone's enemy? I swear there's someone that hates me.

I recall a certain fluffymoochicken contributing to a quite lengthy argument involving a certain Crazy game that is old and is owned by most of us.

No less.

The last time I mentioned Crazy Taxi in this thread was on June 22, 2010. My interest in the subject died a long time ago. I'm not one of the people who's needlessly debating for over a month about some ancient games that essentially nobody cares about anyway. =P

It was merely an observation, you know? I'm gone for nearly two weeks, and when I come back, I find that they're still at it. I consider that to be pretty extreme, and for no good reason. Are we actually wanting these ports that much?
