It's usually just a fun bantering, nothing too serious.
Segata Sanshiro's dialogues is the most interesting I think because of his world really "different" from other characters.

Sega Sanshiro is absolute legend of Japan.

Here's to hoping Sega Shiro will make a return for the Power Surge. He is criminally underused character in Sega's Japanese promotion.

His father starred in twelve commercials, he only had three and all of them were mostly for an origin story.

Well to be fair 3 commercials compared to 12 commercials is good given what they're representing.
Segata Sanshiro was representing SEGA Saturn while SEGA Shiro was representing Game Gear Micro.
SEGA Saturn was supported for 6 years while Game Gear Micro was supported only for 1 year.

'Everybody has their version of Mortal Kombat' Legacy Kollection devs talk about why handheld ports were included

Quote
While content editor Dan Amrich grew up playing the Genesis version of the game, he spoke with someone who gave a passionate defense of the Game Boy port, which they spent hours playing in the back of a car on family trips.
"It's not the best version of Mortal Kombat, but there are people out there that have very vivid and strong love and memories for specific versions," said Amrich.
People can still get upset about including handheld ports however, like the Game Boy version. "It's an affront to them for some reason. I'm like, just because ..."

Strike Series Designer Outlines Plans For A Spiritual Successor, But You'll Have A Long Wait Before You Can Play It
"Right now, there are about four games in the queue ahead of it"

Quote
Barnes is an individual who will probably be best known to Strike players for lending his likeness to co-pilot Antonio Scott in the second game in the series, 1993's Jungle Strike — a role he would later reprise in the 1994 entry Urban Strike. However, his involvement with the series goes much deeper than that.
He has notably been involved with the series since the very start, working as a production assistant on the original Desert Strike for Sega Mega Drive (though poor crediting meant he was only ever acknowledged in the game's Japanese manual). From there, he was also the co-designer on both Jungle and Urban Strike, working with series co-creator John Manley, and went on to be the lead designer on the N64 version of Nuclear Strike, which released in ...

The magazine cover looks like father and son comparing sizes... and i don't mean Sega consoles.

But shame Shiro isn't used for other Sega commercials of his own.

Imagine him kicking ass in Kamurocho or Wood City? Or weilding the Golden Axe, or taking an exciting taxi ride!

On June 28 (Sat) and 29 (Sun), Sega participated in the "G-Fusion Game Fest Beijing" held in Beijing, China.

Quote
The booth for SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance attracted many visitors, as it was the first time the game was available for trial play in China.
Additionally, a bunch of "ninjas" appeared around the booth 🥷🏻, exciting the crowd at the venue!

Yeah, Shiro and Segata's return were born because of the creativity Game Gear Micro marketing team.
Even Mega Drive Mini marketing didn't go that hard.

There's two other pictures to that. Doesn't end well for her.

Those two other pics are only happened if we didn't insert coin and press continue.
Come on, spend more dime on this game to avoid the bad route!

Damn! I mean... your father got to promote a major console and got a reputation out of it next to his career and legacy as the first Kamen Rider... And all you got is a Game Gear for ants.
And his commercials didn't even show the product.

I'd rather be the player than get played.

Yeah, it showed the "macro" Game Gear instead.

But for Kamen Raider thing he actually followed (and also replaced) his father step.
He played as Hongo Takeshi too (the original one's played by Hiroshi Fujioka / Segata Sanshiro) in Kamen Rider Beyond Generations.

All in all, Sega of Japan should make the most of Sega Shiro.

Agree, still we don't know how busy Maito Fujioka is.
He played a lot of TV series during that time.
