Did You Know That These Three Games are Trilogy?

Those three games are part of Emirin / Emiko Yamamoto's (a game designer and producer at Disney) Mega Drive's I Love ...(Disney) trilogy.
It's reflected on the Japanese Mega Drive's titles :

1. I Love Mickey Mouse: Fushigi no Oshiro Daibouken (aka Castle of Illusion in the west)
2. I Love Donald Duck: Guruzia Ou no Hihou (aka Quackshot in the west)
3. I Love Mickey and Donald: Fushigi na Magic Box (aka World of Illusion in the west).

Understandable that most of western gamers probably wouldn't know this due of the changing of the titles for the western version.

Happy 30 Years Anniversary for Fantasia !

Quote
Unlike I Love Disney trilogy, Fantasia was developed by Infogrames.
The game was made as part of the 50th Anniversary celebration of Disney's 1940 film of the same name.
Reportedly Roy Disney was unaware that Disney's licensing department had given Sega the rights to produce a Fantasia game.
Roy had promised his late uncle, Walt Disney, not to give out licenses for Fantasia, and having learnt of the news, requested that Sega of America pull all copies of the game from sale and destroy them.
Sega were assured that this was the fault of Disney, and as well as being compensated for lost profits, were granted further licenses for Disney properties.
In the end, all but 5000 copies of Fantasia were recalled by Sega of America and destroyed.

We decided to extend the opportunity to a larger audience by hosting events in other cities,” said Dani Erdelatz, who leads consumer events at Intellivision.
“We are hoping to expand this roadshow to even more places in the future and getting Amico in the hands of even more families around the country.”

Kid Chameleon Artist Mick McGinty Has Passed Away

Quote
Mick McGinty was an artist with unparalleled talent. Back when video games required enticing box art to sell, much like books often require captivating covers, Mick was one of the best around.
Mick created artwork for Street Fighter 2, Streets of Rage 2, Streets of Rage 3, Shining Force, Kid Chameleon, and more.
However, his talents weren’t even restricted to video game art, as he has a website dedicated to a whole host of other art, including breathtaking scenic landscapes.

No loss indeed, unless you're a fan of Star Wars or Space Harrier at that time.
Funnily enough, 32X was developed by SEGA of Japan to counter Atari Jaguar.
They really overestimated Atari.

It was first designed as console, but SEGA of America convinced them to make it an add-on...
since they can't say no, still wanted to push Genesis, and not ready to promote for a new console.
The damage would be greater if it was a new console.

There are a few games for the Sega CD that catches my eye but still not really worth it. Maybe if it came out as the Sega Neptune then I would of bothered with it.

SEGA CD has definitely better line up games compared to 32X.
But 32X exclusives are more unique :

That's true. Sega really wanted to push what they could do with the Mega Drive could do at the time but in doing so burned out audience interest for the console.

OH I JUST CAN'T WAIT TO get frustrated at how difficult Lion King was for the Mega Drive.

Still I doubt Sega will update Sega Mega Drive & Genesis Classics for Steam over it.

The Steam Classic Collection only contains first party games with SEGA franchises.
Such a shame since SEGA Mega Drive / Genesis Mini contains many games from third parties and non SEGA franchises.

These New Sega Charging Mats Let You Wirelessly Charge Your Phone In Style

Quote
There are seven designs available in total, with three consoles (Saturn, Dreamcast, Mega Drive), three controllers (the same three, naturally), and a more generic Sonic the Hedgehog design.
They all cost £19.99 / 19,44€ and are compatible with a range of wireless-enabled devices from the likes of Apple, Samsung, and Nokia. For peace of mind, they also feature a "non-slip rubber base" to keep them firmly in place on your desk.
