Eeh, as a Brit, monarchy and democracy has it's ups and downs. George I was King of Great Britain and Ireland from 1 August 1714... He was also German, barely able to speak English.

We had some bad royals in the past, but we also had some bad prime ministers as well. These days while the royal family does hold some authority over the common people she really is no more than a figure head and leading tourist attraction in Britain.

If I want Sonic to be more popular, I'd chose Disney.
But now I'm kinda satisfied with what Paramount's doing to Sonic.

Much earlier before democracy's introduction, the king's son Elias is forced to assume his father's place, and Geoffrey St. John, one of the king's most loyal subjects, takes advantage of Elias' inexperience to disband the Freedom Fighters.
Geoffrey also uses his totalitarian powers to separate Princess Sally from Sonic whom Geoffrey always regarded as a bad influence on Sally, forcing Sonic to sneak around like Harry Potter.

Yeah the comics did get rather political, but were educational in a way. I don't mind cartoons, especially superhero cartoons getting political as long as it's easy to follow the concepts and not too much political jargon.

Yes, I remember this one.
I love Justice League and Batman original animated series (but hate Superman animated series since he looks too broody, his smile is kinda weak).
Something's that DC did better than Marvel.

Yeah DC cartoons are nothing like they were. I mean I don't really watch Young Justice because that's too broody even for me, but I am glad at least we have it.

But when Justice League Action was announced fans were hoping it be a lot like the original animated series. But really it was a bit more goofy now and again. Honestly Batman Brave & the Bold was better than it.

That's fair. But I'd suggest you give Batman Brave and the Bold a go. It's '60s campiness does make it's a bit kiddy now and again but not as bad as Justice League Action.

Well these do look good, I'll watch at least these episodes.
I kinda like comic version of The Phantom Stranger (he was revealed to be Judas Iscariot in the New52 run).
I watch about five random episodes before and none of them clicked for me.

While Brave and the Bold is primarily about Batman, later series introduce other heroes, Justice League and even golden age characters.

No other Batman cartoon has come close to Batman the Animated Series. Closest would be the live-action TV series Gotham.

That said with the bar set so high, can't hurt giving BtB&tB a shot.

So I gave it a shot again last night, tried to watch random one, and ended up the one with Wonder Woman.
Man, I really can't stand it.
They make Steve Trevor (that was very charming and useful in the movies) a useless damsel in distress.
The characterization for both Diana and Steve are really off.
Guess this cartoon wasn't really my taste.
Then I tried to watch more Harley Quinn, this one's rather interesting, funny but not too childish.
I think I prefer this one than BtB&tB, just to bad that it's lacking non Batman characters.
