Total acquisition price is $107.6m and expected to close at the end of 2024.

Seamus McGill, Chairman and Interim Chief Executive Officer of GAN, commented:

No, SEGA Sammy Creation has been already operating in overseas countries, mostly in United States and Hong Kong.
GAN Limited is a fallen-from-grace backend software provider for casino operators in the United States and B2C online gaming operator in Europe and South America.
They are now kinda struggling and the question is .. Why would a $5bn market cap Japanese conglomerate be interested in making a distressed debt investment into a struggling US-listed nanocap?
It seems that the most likely reason is the potential full buyout and more time required to perform the due diligence.
