In Robotnik, Carrey has clearly found another character that is not only fun to play but is also personally relatable

Carrey explained that he is attracted to the role because Eggman is a "genius combined with neglect and a sense of absolute worthlessness."
The actor enjoys that, while the character does allow him to use the same "childlike discovery energy" seen in his earlier films, Dr. Robotnik has a sense of depth and sadness that Carrey can sink his teeth into.
In the same interview, Carrey revealed that he improvised lines about Robotnik's past and status as an orphan.

Going by my "characters are the Chaos Emeralds" theory, that Dr. Eggman has the power of the white Chaos Emerald.

We only showed a little part of the zone. Who knows if there were a robotic / mechanical city near that place.

Going by my "characters are the Chaos Emeralds" theory, that Dr. Eggman has the power of the white Chaos Emerald.

Considering that Sonic vs Knuckles woud be like another superhero VS crossover (Batman v Superman, Godzilla vs Kong, etc), when after they fought they will team up to fight another baddie (Robotnik in this case), it would be very possible that Robotnik has enough power to fight them both.
