Yeah, and I think there's nothing wrong with following trend too.

Eeeeh depends how quick the trend gets saturated. I mean when Fortnite and Among Us blew up, I quickly got sick of all those videos trying to trend off the hype.

Especially evident in all those "Sonicgate" crappy animations.

If you go on YouTube and put "Sonic" in the search, at least one of these kinds of videos will show up in the first five results.

I think whoever makes them hopes children will watch them out of naivety. A 6-12 could be like, "Oh boy! A Sonic cartoon! Wait... why is that little Sonic playing in traffic?"

After the success of the Sonic movies, Sega says the Yakuza and Persona series "can be somewhere else other than games soon"

Sega chief operating officer Shuji Utsumi said the company plans to capitalize on that potential by bringing more of its popular IPs to different mediums."We have other major IPs and, I cannot say too much about it but we are thinking of reviving other classical Sega IPs too. Right now there are two big IPs other than Sonic. One is Persona," he said. "And also our Yakuza titles. Yakuza is really unique. But that big one is also coming next year too."
"But also, as I say, we are trying to be in a lot of different kinds of business areas, like Roblox, movies. All these IPs can be somewhere else other than games soon."

Well, I know a Yakuza movie is on the way. But if they are going to make more movies, I wonder if they'll ask Paramount to produce them or if they will me a Sega Cinematic Universe.

No, really. I never found those videos and I do searched Sonic once everyday to check if there is a new video that I could post in this forum.
Most of them that showed up are latest Sonic game's gameplay videos and official trailers. I only check the top 10 though, never bother scrolling more.
