Every movie franchise will later ended up with bad one.
Well, not yet for Toy Story and Shrek I guess, but most of franchises will.

Lol no, the movie is good, who is this "people" you're talking about?
It's certified fresh in Rotten Tomatoes and if you don't trust the media's reviews there are still 10,000+ user reviews that rated it as 94 of 100.
Someone who said it bad most likely hasn't seen the movie or just judging it just from the trailer (the trailer wasn't good at conveying the movie) or just hate family movies in general.



Sure it has the lowest score compared to its prequels in RT, but it doesn't make the movie bad.

Toy Story 2 - 100%
Toy Story 3 - 98%
Toy Story 4 - 96%
Toy Story 5 - 93%

It's still better than a lot of movies there.

Toy Story 4 was actually reviewed better than Toy Story 5 with more user reviews (50,000+).
Unless you're talking about the spin-off of course, Lightyear (2022).



I haven't watched it. As silly as it sounds, the movie wasn't aired in my country due to objection from some Islamic religious groups about LGBT content (a brief scene showing a same-sex kiss between two female characters). Regulators listened to them and advised Disney to alter or remove the scene for the Indonesian market but Disney refused to do that.

I checked The Offspring official accounts, they're not saying or responding anything about the news. Contrast if compared to when Crazy Taxi: World Tour announcement back then.
