Because you used to complain about the game having "western cinematics" and the space setting.

I know, but I understand this is kind of a compromise.  It's an arcadey, high pace action title with addictive gameplay and highly stylized visuals which is how I think more games should be.  That they westernized it a bit is understandable and acceptable.

OMG!!! I can't believe that I have forgot to pre-order it!!!

I usually buy my games on Amazon.jp, they have the best price. I thought I had pre-ordered it, the game has not arrived on the release date, then I was checking it, and yes, it was on my cart, but I forgot to checkout it.... holy sh it!!!

It's the third time I do that!

Now I've lost the pre-order bonus, the 3 limited weapon pack code.....

May someone give me the code for the weapon pack? Is the code limited? You can't uses it twice?

I have the code for the golden weapons in Uncharted 2, if someone want it...

Ahh, fair nuff then. HOpe you enjoy the game as much as you are looking forward to it!

I want to finish Enslaved first, since i've borrowed that from a friend, but after that, I'm going to get stuck right into Vanquish.

^Generally I would say I don't play the multiplayer of 90% of the games I get with it and almost always seems tacked on and not worth the development time taken out of the main game.

But the amount of fun I've had with Vanquish. I kind of agree.
If there is ever a sequal I hope they do include multiplayer... As for how they handle the slow-mo. I dunno, make it an item or cut it out completely for MP.

They could make some minigames as well.

You go slidin on your knees down a slope, jump high in the air, shoot some ducks in slow-mo, try to fall directly into a mech, and run to the finish line where some hot chick awaits you with your new transforming car.

You would have had a clean $30 if...!

It is really hard for that to work out. Look at teams like Naughty Dog and Bungie, their release schedules severely slow down just because they have to spend so much time upkeeping the multiplayer and general community while keeping everything fair.

I think multiplayer stuff based around Streets of Rage or Jet Set Radio would work out really good with how those games are designed with gangs in mind, but eh I just want Phantasy Star Online 2. Hopefully it is not garbage!

The slow motion stuff is pretty much what makes the game, you would need to re-imagine many of the elements in here for it to work in a multiplayer scenario and even then I just think we all rather have a co-op Bayonetta 2 instead.

For Vanquish, I think a good way to get the slow motion to work in a multiplayer game is if only like one player was allowed to use it for a set time, then it was given to someone else, or if a bubble appeared around your character that slowed down everything inside it, but not outside. Not sure if that kind of thing would work on the engine though.

Now that would be pretty cool. I am kind of tired of "Challenge Missions" in games nowadays, and that sounds like a great distraction.

I thought of both of those ideas while playing Vanquish.

I desided to write off the bubble idea pretty quickly it seems a bit jarring in my mind anyway.

I like the idea of having a kind of 'VIP' system where one guy gets the slow-mo until he is killed then it is passed on to the killer.

It could also be an item on the map in 'death match' or 'team death match' gameplay where it appears randomly and you have to get to it and when you do you get it for an amount of time.
