Plans for Friday
« on: November 22, 2010, 06:22:08 pm »
Sega's Last Son... I have no idea why I gave the Dreamcast a gender just now but she's turning 12 on friday.

Any plans people?

I am expecting a new game to have it's release date revealed.

I expect to hear some news from the independent scene as well. Here's hoping!

No plans personally, due to it being the day after Thanksgiving and black friday. Hopefully I'll get a chance to boot up the Japanese DC and play a little!

edit: Wikipedia has the 27th (Saturday) as the launch date, is that correct? Also, November 27th is Ryo Hazuki's birthday and the day before my own birthday (woop! woop!)  :afroman:

Oh you have no plans all of a sudden because it's BLACK Friday, huh? What if it was called WHITE Monday, I bet you would be havin' a gran ol' time... Bastard...

But seriously... I guess I can play Crazy Taxi on the XBLA? lol. SEGA will not even acknowledge this day I think.

lol, anus your a funny rectum.

But seriously, does crazy taxi count as a DC game I don't think 360/PS3 are emulating it, I think it is a proper port. You should try playing the new games, specifically R4 (rush rush rally racing) that game has a lot of heart.

Crazy Taxi is a arcade port, even on Dreamcast. The PSN/XBLA one is a PC port.

Just for the sake of argument;

Crazy Taxi = Naomi
Dreamcast = Naomi

Yeah, can't say it's a port when it's the exact same hardware, aside from the GD-ROM difference and such.

Naomi used GD's :p as well.

Dreamcast R7 series were made for Arcades only.

That's only the models that didn't have a GD-Rom.

Cart's require more Ram than CD's because of Audio.

Etymology
From the Hebrew male name Noam (נועם), meaning pleasantness
[edit]Pronunciation
IPA: /ˈneɪəmi/

How would the world have turned out had Sega went with Katana and it was black, would it have AiR NiGHTS and the flying controller?

Well we were planning a huge relaunch of DCS, unfortunately while we were close to finishing up the website.... the server crashed.

We had been working on the new site for 4 months :(.

Given that is is already saturday we missed our launch window and we are all feeling really terrible about it.
