A good line up but not sure until we get to see some more of the bigger hitters on the list (Yakuza of the End, Sonic 20th, PSO2, Platinum's new games, Monkey Ball DS etc) but as it stands, I think it's an all round fantastic line up but still need to learn much more.

Out of the unannounced projects, I'd have to go pick out the new The Creative Assembly as the one I'm looking forward to the most. I enjoyed Viking and with them showing their worth with Shogun 2, I'm excited to see what they can come out with a much larger investment.

Of the announced games, I'm looking forward to Yakuza 4, the new play styles with a great intertwined plot and the extra side quests were great and I hope they keep as much content as they can.

Hoping Virtua Tennis 4 delievers once again and fix some of the issues introduced in Virtua Tennis 3. Here's hoping Mie's team can continue to improve the series.

Looking forward to Kamiya's next game too, hopefully will have the same calibre as something like Bayonetta rather than something like Devil May Cry.

I'm looking the most forward to phantasy star online 2, Valkyria chronicles 3, Yakuza 4 and.... yeah kind of curious what direction they are going to take with sonic. I'm worried they are going to make some bad decision again, but we'll see.

Oh yeah, and conduit 2, definatly

Edit: Great thread btw

Sharky, I edited the title of your thread (you had written "Sgea" instead of "SEGA") ;)

List looks great! I'm hoping for a few surprises too. Perhaps some older IPs receiving sequels. Jet Set Radio, Space Channel 5, Samba de Amigo and NiGHTS have been dormant for too long and could benefit from Kinect and Move.

Alright I wanted to wait until there were some posts in this thread before I did mine.

For the games next year... Well the line up is looking very promising. If 70% of these games turn out to be good then Segas line up will be amazing... But I suspect a few duds, as always.

For me, these are the games that really stand out at this point.

I'M REALLY EXCITED ABOUT:

-Phantasy Star Online 2
I know that we know almost nothing on this game. But the name is all I need to get excited. I'm hoping for a game that mixes the best of PSO with the best of PSU and is much, much bigger in scale.

-Yakuza 4
I've heard nothing but good things about this game. Apparently its the best in the series yet and thats good enough for me as I've enjoyed every one I've played.

-Yakuza: Of The End (zombies)
The concept alone is good enough to be excited about but Majima playable? Yes please!

-Shogun 2: Total War
Being a fan of the Total War series since way before Sega was involved I've played all of the main games in the series and Shogun 2 looks like it might just be the best yet... I'm very excited for this one.

-The Creative Assembly (Action Game)
I know that we know nothing at all about this game other then it is an action game, it has the biggest funding of any Western made Sega game yet and is made by the guys that make Total War and Viking. But that is all I need to know to get me frothing at the mouth... I'm a bit of a Creative Assembly fanboy, but with good reason!

- Sonic The Hedgehog 20th Anniversary title
Please be good, Please be good, Please be good!
I will admit the ONLY reason I care about this is because Sonic Colours gave the series new life imo... I prey to Segata that it follows in Colours' footsteps.

-Platinum Games NA 2 (Action/Bayonetta 2?)
Kamiya has hinted at Bayonetta 2 on his twitter a number of times now.
Bayonetta 2!!!... That is all.

I'M INTERESTED IN, BUT NOT YET CONVINCED/ ON THE FENCE;

-Valkyria Chronicles III: Unrecorded Chronicles
Put this bad boy on home console and I'll be there like a shot... I just don't like handhelds. Which is a shame.

-Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode II
I'm one of the people that liked Sonic 4 for what it was. Knew it had flaws and hopes that they are improved in Sonic 4 Episode 2... Also the Homing Attack was a great addition. Suck it haters.

-Space Channel 5: Part 2
Never owned Part 2... Always wanted too. But I'm not convinced that the guys doing the DC ports are up to the job at hand.

I will be playing Shenmue World be it good or bad.

Sonic 4 Episode 2 is the top of my list.

Apart from that I'm interested in Virtua Tennis as I have Move.

I still need to pick up Sonic Colours so will probably get that next year too.

Just going with ones confirmed for western release, mine would probably be:

Valkyria Chronicles 3
Space Channel 5: Part 2 (one of my favourite games of all time)
Yakuza 4
Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2
Virtua Tennis 4

I think Space Channel 5: Part 2 will be the first Dreamcast re-release to really be great. 16:9 AND no audio changes (we can only hope). Unless they screw up the controls or something... but for now I'm positive about it!

Don't think VCIII has been announced for the west, has it?

As for me, I'm obviously most interested in Shenmue World. Let's all hope this leads to more Shenmue (III).

Other than that, I'm really looking forward to Space Channel 5: Part 2, Virtual On Force, Rise Of Nightmares, Phantasy Star Online 2, Yakuza 4, and the Creative Assembly title.

Yeah, Rise Of Nightmares has me quite excited. It's not often we get a new first party IP. I assume it's being internally developed by SoJ. Anybody think those behind the House of the Dead series could be working on it? The trailer did have that HotD vibe.

I cant say I'm at all excited about Rise of Nightmares...  I don't see how Kenect could benfiit a horror game and the graphics on the teaser trailer look bloody terrible.

I think it could turn out quite good, though I agree, why put it on Kinect?

@Supa:
Yeah, I don't think it's confirmed, but following the same release schedule as Valkyria 2, it should be out next year.
Whereas Yakuza Of The End might not make it west until 2012, if it follows the same schedule as the other titles in the series.
