Painful heartbreaking? Ah man I feel bad now  :cry:  Can't you understand me a little bit? I can imagine Nights apealing to a pretty small audience.

I do apreciate your passion that it kind of made me want to give it another go. It could be that I was maybe in the wrong mood for the game. I vaguely remember my last playthrough. I always seemed to skip it when i'm in a saturn mood.

I do recall a feeling of satisfaction but that could be the case with any game. I'll however tell u what I think about it when I do play it. Maybe at spiralknights but we'll see

PS: Valkyria chronicles is after Yakuza my favourite SEGA serie.*watches review*

Haha, do give it another try sometime. I mean I really disliked Metroid Prime, but I still forced myself to finish it. I am like that with a ton of games though, I will force myself to make significant process/beat a game I find bad if everybody else says it is good, just so I can make sure of my opinion. I also listen to terrible, crappy mainstream music too, so that I at least know what I am talking about next time I flip a fan some crap.

As for the review sorry for the quality, I've been told it was good but I am not super confident in how well it was done. I had just finished trying to review Nights, it was around 4 AM, and that review was done in one take. One idea I had that I liked at SEGA Fanatic was all the staff members played the roles of washed up/forgotten SEGA characters from Genesis titles: I was Taro Yamada of Rent A Hero, Richard was Larcen Tyler of Eternal Champions, Naveed was Sketch Turner of Comix Zone and Phil was Kid Chameleon (Chameleon Kid depending on region). We also had a running joke that Sketch Turner felt inadequate about his game not being on the 32X. My final touch was the banners checker design being a reference to Sega Master System box-art, I liked that quite a bit.

Monkey Ball... the franchise sucks.

Did you play the first two? or are you making the judgment off the DS, 3DS versions or Adventure?

I played the first or the second on the arcade, can't remember exactly. It's nice, but nothing special to me. But when I saw Banana Blitz on Wii I was really disappointed: very difficult, boring and it sucked! And after hearing MeeMee's voice in SEGA Superstars Tennis I knew definitely, that this franchise sucks even more  :mrgreen:

I've never seen Monkey Ball Step & Roll, but according to reviews it's not that good and it even sold bad. Even the 3DS game sold bad till now. So that let me guess that Monkey Ball isn't loved at all by the great mass of casual gamers.

What I don't like is that SEGA treatens the game as if it would be a very beloved SEGA franchise. The Wii launches and SEGA brings a MB, the 3DS launches and SEGA brings a MB, WP7 launches and SEGA brings a MB. It's christmas and SEGA sends a christmas card with AiAi on it, as if it would be a great representative of SEGA games. The last sales showed that Monkey Ball isn't that hit game SEGA wants it to be.

I think howewer it fits good for mobile phones and when I'll try out it on WP7 in the future maybe I change my opinion about the game. But till that, I don't like the franchise much.

Man, that's so fucking easy to answer!!

 ALL THE SPORTS TITLES FROM SEGA!

- J-League Pro-Soccer Club wo Tsukurou! series;
- Football Manager series;
- Baseball Team wo Tsukurou! series;
- Starhorse series;

 ...there's no end!

 I also hate the card games from Sega, the ones that saved the arcades market in Japan:

- Sangokushi Taisen
- WCCF
- Sengoku Taisen
- Key of Avalon

 Hates the kids games from Sega too:

-Mushiking
-Love & Berry
-Dinosaur King
-Lilpri

 and many more...

 RTS is also the worst genre EVER on the gaming world!

-Total War series;
-Hundred Swords;
-etc...

 One by each console:

-Master-System = Psycho Fox (horrible)
-Mega-Drive = Alex Kidd (terrible)
-Saturn = Shin Shinobiden (disgusting)
-Dreamcast = Eternal Arcadia (what a waste of money)

 Sega makes a lot of bad games too...

Oh, I hate Eternal Arcadia. And Valkyria Chronicles.

 2 big shit games from Sega... -__-

 Phantasy Star 4>> Sakura Taisen>>∞ Eternal Arcadia>> Valkyria Chronicles.

 All these games were made basically by the same team.

So what? That game is really poor!

 Graphics are worse than PS1 (it was released pratically at the same time of FF9).

 No songs with lyrics.

 No high quality CG movies (too bad Marza does not existed at that time).

 Boring battle system (see Phantasy Star 4 plz!).

 The story was supposed to be something serious or what? Stupid plot... (Sakura Taisen feeling plz! Is what I've expected).

 The characters... a bunch of emos... not for me -__-

 I liked the special super moves though...

 Don't ask me about Valkyria again! I have wrote my thoughts about that shitty series somewhere here on this forum.

EDIT: THE WORST! "This is our answer to FF7", said Sega at that time. LOLOLOLOLOL!

 They said that because Sega has cancelled PS5 for Saturn after seeing FF7 for the PS1...

 No problems, sir. Seems that Sega has lost completely the rights over the series now...

 Sadly, of course -__-

STORM, no accounting for taste, but Hundred Swords and Arcadia are two excellent titles in many ways, and there were so made in SEGA titles in the present day!, also saw what other games are released more or less simultaneously.

Don't try to understand STORMs taste, he is Japanese after all! =D

I'm glad to see so many people feel the same way as I do about Golden Axe, I just could NEVER get into it and found it really boring... I still remember being double teamed by Aki and Sanus about how wrong I am for disliking it.

That said I did like the idea of the series returning but Secret Level really shat on it. I'm still so gald they have been disbanded.

I wouldn't mind seeing Creative Assemblys console/action team have a go at giving it a reboot. I think they could make a good game of it.
