Nintendo E3 Press Conference - Fat Plumbers Waggle

I'll be watching it, despite not owning a Wii or any other Nintendo product besides the NES and GBA.

OKAY!

Okay okay.

Fuck.

There is plenty of FAIL thus far. Microsoft was a ballet compared to this.

Awkward Miyamoto reveal, tripping through the curtain... c'mon...

;)

Agreed, looks nice. Though the coolness of wiimote Zelda has grown old. Perhaps if they had a surprise in the next few minutes...?

Mario... Volleyball... *sigh*

and Hockey...

and dodge ball...

and basketball...

and it's a Sports Mix.

Basically Nintendo shooting their load and getting all the Mario Sports titles out of the way.

Now they're saying: "Some say we suck, but look at the numbers."

Wii fucking Party.

Goldeneye. Wasn't that a game on the N64?

Look at those chubby Nintendo fans smiling about their fat pink hero.

Kirby is a ball of yarn?

More Metroid...

More Donkey Kong (sans Rare)...

yawn...

At this point I'm just talking to myself and racking up Karma points.

To summerize: Nintendo just brings back the same IPs again and again and again until you get numb to it.

A new Nintendo home console is the only thing that would invigorate these old franchises. I'm done.

Oh look, 3DS...

Zelda: Are people sick of motion control Zelda yet? Also, clunky presentation.

Mario: Lame mini game compilation. Pass.

Kirby: Graphical style is unique, but it's hardly the next BIG Kirby game. Looks akin to a XBLA or PSN game.

Donkey Kong: Looks to be a remake, sans Rare.

Epic Mickey: Best of the bunch.

Dragon Quest: How many have they made now? Pass.

Golden Sun: First game was fun! Shame it's still chained to the portable platform.

Goldeneye: Remake: boring. I'd take the HD Perfect Dark over this. Still, people seemed happy to see a game based on a Pierce Brosnan movie.

Metroid: Never was into Metroid, I feel like I've seen this game before.

Kid Icarus: Looks pretty, too bad the entry fee is a new piece of hardware.

Jesus, there's nothing but negativity in this thread. Well I'll say that I loved it. Kirby's art style had me blown away. I sat there looking at my tv with a massive smile on my face throughout most of the trailer.

Mario Sports Mix was kind of funny to see. Nintendo's already put out Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort. I'm pretty sure there's enough sports minigames on the Wii as is.

Zelda looks good even though the controls were messing up. Since SMG was such a smoothe game I'll believe them on the interference issue even if it wasn't really interference. It could've been the position of the sensor bar.
