"Random Encounters" was initially conceived during a Sega-sponsored contest, for which AJ Pinkerton co-developed the winning entry and his first video game parody song, "Needlemouse: The Musical".
The Needlemouse song was requested by Sega to be performed live at their 2011 Sonic Boom community event, where AJ Pinkerton and Peter Srinivasan first recognized the demand for their product and began development on a series of popular games as musical numbers.

The 2nd stage "New Sakura Wars the Stage ~ Two Flames ~" (Dec 17-19, 2021)
has released a masterpiece key visual where 10 characters gather!

The key visual of the stage "New Sakura Wars the Stage-Two Flames (Yomi: Homura)-" to be performed at Theater 1010 from December 17th (Friday) to 19th (Sunday), 2021 has been lifted.
It is a visual that a total of 10 people gather, including the character that will be the first appearance.
At the same time, a single visual of the character and a comment that conveys the enthusiasm of the cast members arrived.
In addition, the voice of Yohei Azakami will appear in the role of Seijuro Kamiyama.

The performances for the third part of the stage play adaptation of Persona 5, Persona 5 the Stage, will begin in Japan today, on December 10, 2021.
Celebrating the upcoming performances, a Blu-ray & DVD (2-disc set) of Persona 5 the Stage #3 have been announced for a release on April 27, 2022.

Sonic the Hedgehog Will Appear at Summer Sonic 2022 Music Festival

The Tokyo venue will have the appearance of Sonic the Hedgehog on the aptly named Sonic Stage.
On the first day of August 20, 2022, it will feature St. Vincent, Kacey Musgraves, Vaundy, Awesome City Club, Squid, and Chai. The second day will have Carly Rae Jepsen, CL, Endrecheri, Queen Bee, Griff, Chanmina, and Salem Ilese on the same stage.

Chisa Yokoyama to Host Sakura Wars Midsummer Festival 2022 on 7/18/2022

On May 1, Chisa Yokoyama’s official website announced that the Sakura Wars Midsummer Festival will return for 2022.
The show, titled Sakura Wars Midsummer Festival: Anata ga Tanoshikereba, will be a one-day engagement, and is slated to be held on July 17 at 18:00 JST (7/17/2022 at 5:00AM EDT/2:00AM PDT).
A visual for the event was also revealed, which features Chisa Yokoyama dressed as Sakura Shinguji, posing against a multicolored background.

I find that both hard to believe, but understandable given the cultural significance Sakura Wars is all about.

This stage play ran from 4 December 2014 to 7 December 2014 at the Aoyama Theater in Japan.
On 26 March 2015 a DVD of the play went up for sale.
The DVD release included item codes which could be redeemed for in-game items in Phantasy Star Online 2 via the visiphone.
A new one with a completely original storyline will be released to celebrate the 10th anniversary of PSO2.

Persona 5 the Stage #4 Final Key Visual, Cast Pictures, Staff Information Released

Part 1 took place in Osaka and Tokyo in December 2019, Part 2 took place in October 2020 in Yokohama and Osaka, and Part 3 took place in December 2021 in Osaka and Yokohama as well.
Ticket sales for Part 4 will become available on September 3rd, and the performances will take place from October 20 to October 23, 2022 at the KT Zepp Yokohama venue in Japan.

The “Persona Super Live P-Sound WISH 2022: Crossing Journeys” concert is taking place this weekend on October 8th and 9th, as the first major Persona series concert in 3 years since Persona Super Live 2019.
The concert was originally planned for 2021 before the pandemic.
The first day of the concert is featuring a prelude with the Shinjiro Aragaki dancer, Yumi Kawamura and Lotus Juice appear to perform "One Determination" from Persona 3 The Movie #3: Falling Down.

Concern over E3 2023's future is continung to grow, prompting more publishers to drop out behind Nintendo, Xbox, Sony, and Ubisoft.
SEGA confirmed to IGN that it would not be attending the show after all, saying in a statement, "After careful consideration, we have decided not to participate in E3 2023 as an exhibitor.
We look forward to sharing more information on announced and unannounced projects in the future."
Bandai Namco declined to provide an update on E3, but did confirm it would be attending Play Days.
Tencent confirmed through a spokesperson that Level Infinite would not be attending E3 2023, but that it had participated in Play Days in 2022 and “found it to be an ideal experience for showcasing our games to the media.”

The first event Sega will visit will be Thailand Game Show 2023, which will run concurrently with Wonder Festival 2023 Bangkok at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center on October 20-22, 2023. It will then attend the Electronic Sports and Gaming Summit at World Trade Center Metro Manila in the Philippines on November 3-5, 2023.
Sega will also place its booths in Indonesian and Malaysian events for the first time. The Indonesia Comic Con x DG Con 2023 will take place at Jakarta Convention Center on November 4-5, 2023. The company will also have a presence at Malaysia’s Comic Fiesta 2023 in the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre on December 23-24, 2023.

It’s game over for the Electronic Entertainment Expo, better known as E3.
The Entertainment Software Association, the video-game trade group that ran the convention, announced Tuesday that E3, first launched in 1995, is winding down.
“After more than two decades of hosting an event that has served as a central showcase for the U.S. and global video game industry, the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) has decided to bring E3 to a close,” the trade group said in a statement. “ESA remains focused on advocating for ESA member companies and the industry workforce who fuel positive cultural and economic impact every day.”

Upon arriving at the Camp store, we were greeted by a selection of Sonic merch! They had plush dolls, action figures, roleplay accessories and coloring books. As a Sonic toy collector myself, I was surprised to see so many items available – some of which I’ve had trouble finding at my local stores. So if you are on the lookout for certain Sonic items, Camp has you covered for the duration of this event.
The coloring table was a hot spot for the younger fans, with a nice selection of coloring pages. Camp did a great job keeping the space clean for each new group. As a father of two, I can attest to the struggle of cleaning up crayons and markers, so kudos to the Camp staff for not only keeping the coloring space fresh and clean, but even sorting the crayons by color!

The event gathered fans in an atmosphere full of enthusiasm and joy. Visitors immediately received a stamp rally card with Sonic's first stamp, followed by a gachapon machine with a special design of Sonic and friends. Fans could also leave impressions, messages, or pictures on the message tapestry that would be brought back by the SEGA Japan team as souvenirs. ☺️
In addition to trying out the excitement at the Gaming Zone booth for the Sonic x Shadow Generations game and taking pictures at the 360 photobooth, the most special moment was the presence of three big figures from the developer team: Kazuyuki Hoshino (Creative Director of the Sonic Franchise), Shun Nakamura (Producer of Sonic x Shadow Generations), and Katsuyuki Shigihara (Director of Sonic x Shadow Generations), who interacted directly with the fans.
Not to be missed, exclusive merchandise was distributed, and the Sonic mascot was also present to greet the visitors, adding to the happiness at this event. The happiness of the fans was so obvious, and many hoped that there would be more gathering events like this in the future. ...
