Didn't Sumo recently develop a Doctor Who platformer/adventure game? I've never played it but could imagine that it would give a good idea of how apt they are at character controlling and combat.

Edit: here it is. Looks so-so, though it does show that they have developed third person controls. No sign of hand to hand combat however.

I know most people probably won't agree with me, but I think a Sega Superstars party game could be fun.

The Doctor Who game was made by a different group in SUMO that never worked on any SEGA games.
