playing banjo kazooie nuts and bolts and Halo 3 ODST.

Halo 3 ODST is not to my taste at all. I don't know what I dislike about it so much but I find it really dull.

I've only got 10 jiggies so far but I'm having a blast on Nuts and Bolts, the vehicle customisation is great, I made a motorcycle and sidecar and am working on a giant 2d Alex Kidd

Ah yeah Banjo Kazooie's vehicle builder is really great. There's a surprisingly good physics engine behind the game. You have to show us that Alex Kidd when it's done!

As for ODST, it is a bit slower than the other games, particularly when you need to search for clues in the city.

Hurm, I remember hearing that there was a glitch where you could earn 'Experience'/Ranking points by playing the Marine Campaign on Nightmare, instead of having to play online. I wonder if thats what they scrapped? I was hoping they wouldn't since I hate online only achievements.

Double Post, but it's worth it!

I just finished Yakuza 2! Wow what a game!

Spoilers of course:

There were so many memorable moments through the last parts of the game, Goro disarming the bomb by 'instinct', taking on the Korean Mafia goons over and over, the fights with Ryuji... all brilliantly done. Excellent game, and I can't wait for Yakuza 3.

End Spoilers!

Anyway, if I had one complaint it would be that I would like more moves and techniques, but even so what was there was very good. Another interesting thing was the sheer number of side missions. I did so many more than the first Yakuza game, but I apparnatly did only around HALF of the avaiable ones. Very impressive.

Well, considering I got to be here in Felgueiras all week, nothing like playing Broken Sword on my Game Boy Micro.

It's a great conversion, no doubt about it, shame that the voice files are missing since all we get is text and some music bits are missing(some songs are shorter and it loops every now and then), but nevertheless I am immersed in the game all the same.

I just came back from Ireland and now I am going to pay a little visit to Marquet at the Hospital.

And I'm playing Sam & Max Season 1 on my laptop, this game rocks, I'm currently re-playing the first episode, trying complete it as fast as possible.

And hopefully, Thehut.com will ship my copy of Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing today.

I just beat the first Halo yesterday for the first time.
I never had an Xbox back when they came out, so my only experience with Halo was playing multiplayer the odd time over the last few years.
Overall, I thought it was a really solid game.  I enjoyed the story and characters, but there were a couple of things that bugged me a bit.
One smaller problem was the low volume of the characters speaking during the gameplay segments compared to the sound effects and music.  I had to turn the volume up pretty high to catch any of the story bits, and still missed some of it.  I couldn't seem to find anything in the options menu to change the volume levels either.
The biggest problem I had with it was the big empty repeating environments.  Going through the underground complex on the planet, it seemed like I went through the exact same sequence of hallways at least 3 times.
I did enjoy the gameplay aspect of it though (aside from any section where jumping was mandatory).  Running up to somebody guns a'blazing, where if the bullets didn't get them, the shot from the back of the gun would, was pretty fun :).

Aside from that, I've been playing the Evil Lord 30 mode (after beating Hero 30), in Half-Minute Hero.

I slaughtered 5 people on Outrun Online endless 15 course last night. It felt great.

I wish the leader boards were more prominent. I have to dig too much to find my ranking.

It's cool to be in the top 100 but now I want to be in the top 50... I wonder if I can pull that off.

Played the demo of The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom on XBLA, throughly impressed, I'll be buying it once I complete Braid and/or Portal.

Also, I'm playing Bonanza Brothers and Sega All-Stars Racing with Opa Opa and Ryo

I have completed the Empire Campaign since I wanted to get it done before Napoleon. I was surprised at how hard it was at first, but then the poor AI made it too easy later on. All the British recruited were Demi-Cannons and Native Horse Somethings (the light horse guys with guns), so it was just kind of weird. They also never did anything in the south, only attacking me around the North, hence why the start was hard (and add to the fact that for whatever reason the Dutch/Spanish kept invading the same area, not sure if that was intentional). If the British AI had been recruiting normal units, I am sure it would have been much harder, as the horses were just good targets for cannons and bayonets.

Speaking of bayonets, I have also downloaded the Bayonetta demos, along with 50 other things on PSN since I was bored. From my experience, I plan to get Bayonetta, Yazuka 3, and God of War 3 when I can afford any of it. I never tried any other demos yet. I also had all three SARS demos, but I deleted them and will just get the game soon.

Otherwise I have just been playing Darwinia + on XBLA and Castlevania Chronicles on PSN.

POST MESSAGE:

Anyone who thinks Bonanza Bros. sucks is a Super Smash Brothers Brawl fan.

I like the characters on SASAR if that's any consolation?

I just found the game a bit too slow for my 10 year old ADHD filled brain.

I finished up the Evil Lord 30 mode in Half-Minute Hero.

Aside from that I started up the first Rainbow Six: Vegas, and just couldn't get into it.  The sequel has totally spoiled me. I'll probably end up just trading this one in when I pick up Yakuza 3.

Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing with Banjo-Kazooie

Been playing it pretty much nonstop since I got it. I hate a lot of the choices in the game, but it is just so much fun that I barely give a shit. The only reason I am not playing now is because my eyes are in so much pain that I just literally cannot stand playing it for a few seconds anymore.

The best thing about the online play, is that for the most part I only see general SEGA fans playing that do not mind losing, even the kids who are only into Sonic do not mind if they come in last or something. I cannot even name a game that has this nice of an online community, and I am utterly shocked considering the fanbase.

I have Xbox Live Gold for the rest of the weekend (used a 48 hour free card), so if anyone wants to play any game online, send me an invite or something!

I agree for the most part about the online community.
It's really easy to host a game, which I prefer to do as I bought all the tracks.
This game seems to be doing pretty well as it's busy online.

Still have the same problem after midnight where it turns into chatty bigot hour on radio fuckwit.
