Finished Gamma's story. All that's left now is Big the Cat.

Finished Sonic Adventure XBLA.

Was a lot of fun while it lasted. That's the most time I've spent with an Arcade title.

Now I'm moving on to disk games, tonight, I'm going back to Alan Wake.

Haven't been playing but have been watching playthroughs.

I really want to give the Saw games a try, they look like fun, especially when played with a friend watching and providing moral support. Shame there's no demo for either one on XBLA. :(

Umh i've just done the first story mission so i'm still at the start, what do you mean? missions asks specific unit types?

If you go to the drill grounds, and look at your individual units, you can see what certificates and whatnot they need to advance to different classes.
I couldn't find an image of the screen, but at the beginning of every mission (story or regular), it has a list of the units that you'll be facing, and it shows what bonus you get for taking them out right beside it.  This way, if you want to make a certain scout into a sniper, you'd look up what bonuses they need to become one.  Then at the mission briefing, if say, an enemy lancer had that bonus, you'd use the scout you want to upgrade to take out the lancers.

It makes more sense when you play the game. It took a long time for it to "click" for me.  This complicated way of upgrading units was probably the only thing that I didn't really like about the game.

Sorry if the explanation doesn't make sense. It'll make more sense if you've actually got the game in front of you.

i think i've got what you said, even if it looks a so very long way to upgrade classes @_@ better to have a piece of paper and a pen and write all you need before to start missions lol. Thanks!

No problem :).

I played the demo for the new Need For Speed game.  I've never played a title in the series before, but I really enjoyed Burnout Paradise, so I'll probably pick this one up.

Oh theres a demo out?
I'm really looking forward to this one, it's a return to form for NFS after all that Underground/Carbon/Ricer bullshit.

I'm actually really interested in playing this one, I might check that demo out.

Yeah I played it. I didn't like the controls. Not exactly hard, just not like Burnout, regardless of the game being JUST like Burnout Paradise lol.

I didn't really have much trouble with the controls. It really seemed exactly like Burnout Paradise to me.
I just hope it gets the same kind of post-release support Burnout got.

Also: I beat Final Fantasy IX :D

Just beat The Signal DLC for Alan Wake.

Boss fight was a little cheap(had to deal with possessed townfolks as well as possessed objects) and the story feels kinda pointless.

Just one more DLC left, The Writer.

With FFIX done, I needed a new portable game to play, so I started up Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks.
I'm not too far into it, but as long as it doesn't have dungeons with time limits like Phantom Hourglass, I'll be happy.

Decided to give Alan Wake a rest and moved on to Alpha Protocol.

Did 2 missions in Saudi Arabia, decided to arrest Aziz instead of killing him, had a nice chat with Darcy, sure ruffled his feathers when I mentioned his dad.

Played some KOF 2k2UM Today, it was awesome.

Also finished Enslaved and Started New Vegas.

Enslaved was a good game, but it just didn't have that wow factor of games like Bayonetta and MAss Effect 2 etc. I think it was possibly because it was far too easy, even on Hard I just cruised through the game. Still very well worth playing though, especially if you want something that's not too challenging but still fun.

NEw VEgas I've only just scratched the surface of, but I'm enjoying it so far!

All of my free time that I had last week was turned into Halo Reach playtime pretty much. I just went nonstop and honestly only want to play more. I have not played it today, but I still hear the announcer in my head and am picturing all of the different kinds of animations and colors of the levels in my head with everything I do.

Once all of the DLC comes I am certain this will be one of my favorite games of all time. It all makes me feel like a kid again and made me worry less about the troubles in my life and the world as a whole.
