Dead Rising 2. It's so addictive.

Alan Wake, just at the end of chapter 3, it's good but a bit repetitive.

Played Sonic 4 trial version, four times in a row loved it.

Played Sonic Adventure XBLA and I ask how is this game broken? People, seriously... where do they find this sh**? It's not broken!

Can't wait to get back into Alpha Protocol, as soon as I finish Sonic Adventure.

How is Sonic Adventure broken? Well it has twitchy controls, camera sucks. That is for starters.

Sonic Adventure is not broken. The physics and controls have aged pretty poorly because it was one of the first truely 3D games Sonic Team made. If you go back and compare it to the kind of stuff you could do in the 3D sections of NiGHTS and Burning Rangers, Sonic Adventure is just a few miles ahead. It is like how Metroid 1 has aged. That is not a bad game, but it seems like broken dookie compared to exploration based platformers now.

AS FOR ME?!?! I just put down Halo Reach because I noticed I was playing it for like seven hours straight and am considering doing it all day on Monday even. This was pretty much how I reacted that whole time:

Also have been playing a bunch of demos on the Xbox Live Marketplace. Pretty much everything I played, even games I was certain I would enjoy, such as Comic Jumper or Sonic the Hedgehog 4 I did not really like at all, most of the demos of retail games I played I just did not even finish. It did not bug me though, stuff like Fist of the North Star was hilariously bad, so I still enjoyed my time.

I did however absolutely love Costume Quest. I need to pick that game up ASAP!

Boring is not really the word as each fight lasts like less than a minute! It is really basic stuff, but pretty sure you get a lot more types of powers later on. I liked the exploration and thought the writing was great. It is Double Fine, after all.

I'm also planning on picking up Costume Quest soon. Probably once I'm finished Okami.
Speaking of which, I made a good chunk of progress today in Okami, and I'm probably about 2/3 of the way through it.

I still haven't touched Halo Reach outside of a few firefight matches and some multiplayer....  :|

Anyway, kinda surprised you didn't like Comic Jumper, you didn't even like the shoot-em-up bits? I found it challenging but fair and really addictive. Also it's really funny.

And Double Fine has a new game out? Why was I not informed!? I almost coughed passionfruit and white chocolate scone all over my computer monitor. Defintely need to check that out.

Anyway, I've been playing Enslaved: Odyssey to the West. It's quite good.

Played Costume Quest demo, I enjoyed it for it's Halloweeniness and simplicity (I dislike super intensive RPGs), however I disliked how small the text was. I need to get new new glasses, so right now I need to squint or stand 4 feet from the screen to see the itty bitty text. Was gonna buy, but probably wont until I get new glasses :P

Played Sonic CD and Chaotix today, after playing Sonic 4. Sonic CD felt overly complicated, special stages were a bitch and traveling through time was very hit-or-miss (mostly miss), but playing without worrying about a perfect ending was enjoyable. The badniks in CD are very bland, like they all operate like moto bugs. Chaotix was alright. I love the music, and certain character combos can be fun, but sometimes you just totally lose control of the characters and they tweak out all over the screen.

...then I carved a pumpkin, watched They Live and drank a lot.

That and the text skips by itself in Costume Quest. Should be by 'pressing x' not automatically. Would have been 80 times better if it was voiced, Double Fine's voicing stuff is brilliant and dead on.

It only does this in the cutscenes. It goes by a bit too fast in those though, yeah. Especially for a game that is seemingly made for children, you think it would be slower. They might patch this and the text size, depends on how seriously Double Fine takes this release I guess.

Pressing X is too mainstream anyways, it should be LT/L2. If you press XXXXXX, YYYYYY, XXXXXX you'll be sucked.

Finished Sonic's story in Sonic Adventure XBLA story. The whole thing was shorter than I expected.
