I'm getting a PS3 in a month or two.
There are some factors that I weighted in..
1, I live in Portugal, that is, anything that's not Playstation is to be confused with a toaster.
2, longevity and reliability. If I'm getting a console at half past the generation, I might as well get the one that will probably last longer and that usually doesn't break as much.
3, awesome games. Yakuza 3, Gran Turismo, Motorstorm, MGS4, LBP, Wipeout HD, Initial D, FFXIII.. These are really sparking my interest.
As for the NXE discussion,
well you still can use the blades if you want. Just press the Guide button and the blades will show up, smaller but with the same use. I think it works all pretty well. Then again, here in Portugal there isn't half the shit the States get thrown in there. There's ads and stuff everywhere for you guys!
The XMB works fine on the PSP, I really like it. If it works as great on the PS3 I'll be pleased.
Also, can I access the XMB from ingame? Can I use custom soundtracks in every game like on the Xbox?
