But still, they could release it as a DLC at least.
For example, I understand Sonic X Shadow Generations was built from the ground up and not compatible with the original Sonic Generations to just be a DLC-upgrade as Sonic Adventure 2 and SA2Battle was... but they could've at least sold Shadow Generations separately, or give a discount to those who owned Sonic Generations Collection.
I'm talking as a Steam customer, that is.
Instead, I had to pay full-price for a game I already had that was "slightly better" (Graphic-wise, I barely notice the difference), just so I could play Shadow Generations.
If this new Shenmue III upgraded version would be regarded a separate game, I hope it will either be sold as a DLC for the original Shenmue III, if built on the same engine, or at least offer a discount for customers who already own the original.
