Why everybody keep saying it's a reboot? SEGA never said that.
What they say it's a reborn, in term of gameplay and atmosphere.
The story itself is a sequel of Virtua Fighter 5 and noticeable on how Wolf, Akira, and Pai look older in the trailers.
Lau chan and Shun Di are probably already dead of old age.

I'm not "everybody", that's why I am asking for clarification.
Hm... Vilasapara. Y'know, I always liked to imagine a place called "Virtua City", a sort of metropolis where all the "Virtua" games collectively take place. And maybe, Sega treats it as a nexus point for various Sega characters, just like how "
CN City" is both a city and nexus point to various Cartoon Network characters. I also notice Sega has always had an affinity for metropolises, such as the city in SegaGaga, the Boulevards in Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity and 404 GAME RE:SET.
Virtua Fighter perhaps being the exception given the World Fighting Tournament is international than the one place, and whenever Virtua Striker or Virtua Racing has football stadiums or race courses set in other countries, but the events behinds those games, and maybe Judgement Six as well, could be headquartered in Virtua City.
Vilaspara seems to be a nice place, but what are the Virtua Fighters from all across the world doing in the one place? Could J6's actual headquarters be located there instead?
