But In the Chamber of Secrets, it said, “Hermione's white face was sticking out from behind a tree." and  in Prisoner of Azkaban, it was written that she tanned during the summer.

Oh yeah... forgot about that. But J.K. Rowling still cast a black actress for Curse Child stage play.

But all-in-all, I just don't think Snape being played by a black actor would be all that suitable.

Yeah. It's the right of movie/tv series producer to change an adaptation, as long as they don't say their work as “book accurate" or blaming fans if their work isn't a success.

That's likely what will happen.
I remember the GhostBusters movie where the team was all female, the movie itself was bad, but the producers blamed the audience for being sexist or not progressive.

What's sad is, some of my fave Ghostbusters are women.

It's a start and let's hope for the best. If Power Surge failed, I'm afraid SEGA wouldn't care for their retro franchises ever again.

That's a scary thought. I hope they don't fail and put the IPs under the pile. I hope they have a really good campaign planned for it.

Our tastes are clearly different then. I still prefer Frontiers than Sonic Adventure 1-2, Shadow Generations, or Colours Ultimate.

To each their own. i prefer freedom of exploration over the rigid gameplay of Frontiers.

They knew that, that's why they wrote "And don’t worry, you are not missing out! This Crossover Event will return after Global launch 🤝"

I haven't seen Oceans 8, but I agree with you. The producers of that GhostBusters movie just used negative attention for the same of butts in seats. They knew they were making a bad movie out of a beloved franchise, they knew they were going to stir controversy by excusing criticisms with prejudice, but they got what they wanted, people buying tickets just to see how bad it is!

I still prefer Sonic 1,2,3,K,and Mania though over all of the 3D Sonic games.

As a '90s kid, I "should" prefer the classic games also, but I also liked how revolutionising yet simple Sonic Adventure gameplay was.

I guess every year SEGA will add a campaign event for Sonic now.

I don't think they got what they wanted. Ghostbusters (2016) is still aflop. Taking into account marketing costs, its financial loss was estimated at roughly $70 million.
