Isekai Ojisan (Uncle from Another World) Volume 7 Debut is at Number 3
(Based on COMIC ZIN Weekly Tankoubon Sales Ranking)

COMIC ZIN’s list features a number of new releases that may be unfamiliar to you for the week between February 21 to February 27, but not for Number 3’s Isekai Ojisan Volume 7 which is a fairly popular title in Japan.
The series was last seen with the debut of its 6th volume at 53,998 copies sold in its first 5 days back between June 21 and June 27.
Last year, in the month of June, the title was announced to have an Anime adaptation set to commence this year, though on an unannounced date.
It also has up to four volumes officially translated in English by Yen Press.

Sonic The Hedgehog 2 Movie Saw No. 1 Starts in Many Countries

Increases were strong over the weekend with very positive word of mouth and No. 1s in such key markets as the UK ($6.4M/651 locations), France ($5.7M/675), Australia ($2.8M/289), Spain ($2.2M/339) and Germany ($2.1M/553).
Sweden, Czech Republic, Austria, Norway, Belgium, New Zealand, Slovakia and South Africa all also saw No. 1 starts.
The film is still set for release in Mexico, Brazil, Italy and Japan among others.

The result from 4,234 theatres came in approximately 22% above the pre-pandemic original’s $58m three-day February 2020 and sets up the film heading into spring break.

Sega Received Intellectual Property Achievement Award From Japanese Government

The Japanese government also noticed Sega’s enhanced legal portfolio for protecting its brands.
The company has registered approximately 1,900 trademarks related to Sonic the Hedgehog in 90 countries.
It also made copyright guidelines to prevent UFO Catcher and Purikura photo booths—both included in its trademark list—from becoming common terms.
