Always hated it when the stick is drifty.
One of my Switch joycon is also drifty now.
I know I could do DIY fixing by watching tutorials from youtube but too lazy for that.
Your Joycon isn't drifty! Completely in your imagination.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sgNyDjjDCD4I know the most "sane" or "sensible" thing to do here, would be to simply buy a replacement XBox One controller or just use the Saturn Pro Controller... But my autistic brain seem to make me super fickle on such things.
Like, I got a bunch of Dreamcast games waiting for me on Flycast and I'm sure the Saturn Pro Controller will be fine for it... But I really want to play these games with a proper Dreamcast controller.
As for Steam, I've been playing first-person shooters with my
XBox Adaptive Joystick + Mouse, but given I don't have a "general controller" for regular games, been somewhat on hiatus with them until I get my
new controller. While I'm not tight with cash, I don't want to spend money on convenience and then more money on desired objects. It's the same with VR gaming. I could buy whatever VR headset is decent and then buy the Steam Frame, but that would just seem wasteful to me when I can just wait until I get a Steam Frame.
