Recent SEGA games set in space
« on: July 12, 2016, 09:01:01 pm »
I used to love playing games about outer space. At one time, SEGA had a lot of space games like Stargate on Genesis. I really would like to see more games in this genre. We're there any that were recently released other than Sonic games?

Well, SEGA owns the developers of Endless Space and Dungeon of the Endless, both have space themes and Endless Space 2 comes out next year.

If you still have an NDS (or you could just use 3DS instead) you could play Infinite Space.
That game has many good reviews
and there is an 2016 Exclusive Re-Stock Version of it for the price of  $49.99 CDN (39.46 USD).

What's with the thread title? Is it supposed to be "Brand spanking new space game?" I wouldn't mind seeing a Sega Star wars game. I mean, EA sure can't make a good one. Personally, I think Sega needs to put out more games in general. They didn't really announce that many at E3 this year.

Spock makes very weird, usually hard to decipher thread titles. Typically I need to retitle them.

I think it's just that the concept of space is really spanking.

What does "Exclusive Re-Stock" mean? We found a bunch of these in the back of the warehouse that we'd forgotten about?

I thought it meant they literally made new copies, but yeah... it is kind of confusing.

If they made new copies, that would be Reprints, not Re-Stock.
And permission from SEGA would be needed which it's gonna be a long process.
So I guess Centrale's description (found a bunch of these in the back of the warehouse that we'd forgotten about) is more accurate.

Also could be from some collector.
I have a friend who had 50 copies of Asian version of Megadrive's Virtua Racing, all still in mint condition.
He never tell me where he got them all, but one day he needed to make a room for his collection, so he sold them $3 each to his friends.

I don't get it Barry, Berto, and Centrale.

All of you work together at the same SEGA?
What's going on here?
