Shinobi-Inspired "SHADOW GANGS X" (Arcade) - exA-Arcadia Trailer

The arcade version of Shadow Gangs, called Shadow Gangs X, was in location test in Taito Hey arcade in Japan.
It was successful and the test got extended from a week to 2 weeks, normally tests like this are for a week only.

Digital Version of Super Hang-On, OutRun dan Space Harrier Soundtrack Albums (from MP3 to AIFF) have been added to Data Discs' Bandcamp.
Accompanying Streets of Rage 1-3 and Revenge of Shinobi Soundtrack Albums

Space Harrier Album was originally released in 2018 as a vinyl-only edition and has been newly remastered in 2022 for digital. It features the complete 1985 arcade score, along with a bonus arranged version of the main theme by SEGA’s in-house live band (S.S.T. Band) which is exclusive to Bandcamp.

OutRun Album was originally released in 2016 as a vinyl-only edition and has been newly remastered in 2022 for digital. It features the complete 1986 arcade score, along with 3 bonus tracks taken from the Mega Drive and Nintendo 3DS versions of the game (exclusive to Bandcamp).

SUPER HANG-ON album was originally released in 2015 as a vinyl-only edition and has been newly remastered in 2022 for digital.

Retro kung-fu action game Fire Dragon Fist Master Xiao-Mei will launch for Switch via Nintendo Shop on May 19 in Japan for 1,700 yen, developer PiXEL announced.
The Switch version features a number of new elements not in the original 2019 release for PC, including new music and demoscenes by Nakagata, enhanced FM sound effects by Hirofumi Murasaki (Aah! Harimanada, Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master, Clockwork Knight, etc.), new characters, a “Xiaoying Mode” in which the story develops from the perspective of the protagonist Xiao-Mei’s older sister Xiao-Ying, a “Gallery Mode” with illustrations and character designs by Studio Vigor, and character voices by the girls unit Suika.

I believe this movie was what inspired Shinobi... that and just ninja movies in general, but I believe this one in particular was source of inspiration.

Most likely. Ninjas were a pop culture media in the 1980s, Enter the Ninja had a factor in Ninja became a huge thing too.

Yes. And while I know ninja-fame has passed since the last five decades I'd still like a Shinobi movie that captures the charm this movie had.

Kind of like what the Sonic movies did. In a way the movies had that campy millenial vibe to it while still being a modern movie appealing to todays audience.

Looking back at my detest for Naruto, I always thought Naruto was a stupid and inaccurate portrail of ninja, especially ninjas that shout on the top of their lungs or announce themselves let alone wearing colourful attractive garments.

But then again, my knowledge of ninja is how Hollywood portrait it to me. Even I know ninjas can't vanish in a cloud of smoke or turn into logs or such.

The thing with Naruto and some ninja movies : they treat Ninja / Shinobi as some kind of superhero.
Different ninja with different power to show off.
That's not what Ninja is supposed to be.

SEGA described it best what Ninja / Shinobi is in Sakura Taisen :
