Race of AGES !!!

Quote
Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing for PS3, Xbox 360, Wii & DS was released on this day in North America, 11 years ago (2010)
Segata Sanshiro carrying a giant Sega Saturn on his back can be seen riding the rocket from his final commercial around the boat section of the 'Race of AGES' track.
It can also be clearly seen above when entering the final lap in first position.

With his son Sega Shiro taking over, I hope we (well Japan) will be getting new Sega commercials around him. So far he only had a few school-based commercials but he looks like a rising star.

Yeah, he's been featured a lot in Japanese magazines and websites too last year during SEGA 60th Anniversary.
Only once this year, in SEGA Quiz, but that was also part of SEGA 60th Anniversary.
I wondered if his contract was only during anniversary, hopefully not.

Ideas for commercials Sega Shiro can star in!
  • He walks down a stret in Japan and gets jumped by thugs which he takes down, promoting Yakuza games.
  • He meets an old flame of his father, promoting Sakura Wars game.
  • Space battle! Promoting Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis.

It would be cool if those could happened.
Such a waste they don't use the opportunity.
I missed old funny commercials.

It’s really well done and you should give it a watch.
The original Wipeout, a series of futuristic anti-gravity racing games (with an awesome soundtrack), was released back for the original PlayStation, DOS, and Sega Saturn
