Well, I remember playing Sonic '06 on both XBox 360 and PS3 once. The XBox version played smooth while PS3 stuttered like heck.

Yeah, strange indeed, the Xbox 360 version was developed first and was heavily rushed to meet the holiday season so we would think that the PS3 version that was released later would be better since it would have time to fix the glitches, but turned out it's worse.

Still made Sonic more preferable on the XBox over PlayStation and Nintendo.

That one time only. After that, Nintendo got more Sonic games than XBox though.

Yeah, but I like to believe the Storybook games were during Sega's experimental-era. And that Nintendo scorned their partnership with Nintendo over Sonic Lost World and Rise of Lyric.

I meant for storybook series, Sonic Rush, Rush Adventure, Chronicles, and Olympic series but those too of course though that's still years later.
And not just Nintendo. Even Sony got more Sonic games than Xbox.

It was still under their experiemental era. When they were interested in the Wiimote, EyeToy and Kinect.

... and handheld gamings. Sonic had games more on handhelds than console.
Steam was still starting and SEGA wouldn't put their games there until later in 2010.
And somehow SEGA's first games on Steam weren't Sonic but Golden Axe, Ecco the Dolphin, and Vectorman.

The rest of Mega Drive collection games followed later and then Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut launched in 2011.

yeah, pity once that era was over, Sega were like "We're taking these back now! As well as all the Dreamcast games! Except you Sonic, you can stay."
