I bet SEGA themself are surprised on how well received their MD Mini. GG Micro, and Astro City Mini in Japan.
Japanese market was really different compared to international market.
For example, even though Sonic fans are few in Japan (compared to Sakura Wars, Phantasy Star Online, or Yakuza fans), most of them seem quite pleased with Sonic Frontiers trailer, saying they always wanted a change like this and it reminds them of Sonic Adventure (popular over there). They're kinda excited for the game.

All the more reaosn for them too take Sonic Speed Simulator gameplay and put it into SOnic Frontiers.

Agree as long as the gacha elements weren't also taken.

Very much so. No major game should stoop to mobile gacha elements.

Never heard of this game, but given the title and the picture I'm imagining it's about someone hunting the animals of Noah's ark has to run. Though the gorilla may have sided with them due to we humans are apes too.

They're actually saving the animals from the illegal hunters and evil poachers,
that's why the animals (gorilla included) have sided with them after you save them.
(though I'm sure that's now how it work in real life)

It's a beat em up game (like Streets of Rage or Final Fight) and kinda funny.
After you free the animals, some animals will help you to defeat enemies.
For example the deers will running and attacking the enemies after you free them.

Now imagine what happened to the enemies after you're freeing elephants.
Or after freeing dinosaurs. (Well, too bad they are not in the game)

Treasure Turns 30: Three Decades of Subverting Genres

Quote
Treasure might have made games for the hardcore devotee, but in actuality, their games are playable by anyone.
All that’s needed is the patience to learn the systems that differ so much from what many gamers were used to in more traditional takes on the genres Treasure was tackling.
Radiant Silvergun begins as a very difficult, very complicated game: give it the time it deserves, however, and the systems not only make sense, but reveal themselves to be both elegant and rewarding.

SEGA's Virtua Racing - Battle of the Home Ports!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bdFuZ8j7ZMo

Quote
Virtua Racing was Sega's first foray into 3D graphics, following over a decade's worth of pseudo-3D offerings (starting with Turbo) with 2D sprites scaling in real time.
Almost everything in Virtua Racing is rendered with flat-shaded quadrilateral polygons, which means track designs are more complex than in prior Sega racers.
The physics model, however, is not dissimilar to earlier games such as Power Drift - it is impossible to destroy your car, and the only penalty for driving off-road is a significant speed decrease.
