An 'OutRun' Pop-Up Shop Has Opened In Japan until  Monday, June 30th.

Quote
It's not exactly the most exciting merch collection that we've ever seen (We'd personally love to see a few more clothing options, for instance). But hey, if you happen to be in the area and have a fondness for the legendary arcade game, it's probably worth taking a look before making the trip over to Tower Records Shibuya (less than five minutes away) to see what video game soundtracks you can ...

Too convenient but yeah, that could happen.

If SEGA Heroes considered canon, I remember when Joe Musashi met Hotsuma & Ageha and hinted that they're in the same universe but different timeline.
Hotsuma and Ageha live far in the future long after Joe Musashi is dead.

I see, so still possible, just in the future.

Shinobi and Shenmue sharing continuity? A bit trippy, but i can see it happening.

Other than in SEGA Heroes, I don't think Ryo ever met Musashi before (not counting Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, they don't exchange dialogues there). But he does meet Hotsuma (and Kage Maru) in Project X Zone 2.

I don't know the full story in Project X Zone on how the characters meet one another.

It's usually just a fun bantering, nothing too serious.
Segata Sanshiro's dialogues is the most interesting I think because of his world really "different" from other characters.

Such bald presumptions.

He really keep his head in the game!

Domingo (Shining Force) will be Added to Pocket Dimensional Clash 2 V2 - OpenBOR Fan Game

New characters that will join the party in version 4.0, to be released in the future.
I know some people will say "oh but why don't you add common fighters, like Ken?"
the answer is because I find it boring.

I always value these "curve balls" more, giving forgotten characters a chance, than adding more characters that do the same thing that another character already does. I've always followed a rule throughout my decades as a game developer: Doing things differently. I've never been attracted to doing something exactly like the original game - I always thought it was a waste of time, and that it would be better to play the original game.

I respect those who like it, but originality counts a lot for me :)
